She married the love of her life Arthur George Weinel 18, 1955. made their home in Chicago and later moved to Kyle, Texas. Marge worked as a Cafeteria Service Worker and for Southwestern Bell Telephone . Marge believed in giving back to the community. She volunteered for the Capitol Area Food Bank and was a member of the Texas Extension Education Association, Travis , District 10. She also assisted in ADAPT/PACT mail outs. Marge was also a member of Parker Lane United Methodist Church. As a young woman in Chicago she was present on the street near the Biograph Theater when John Dillinger was killed. Upon moving from Chicago to the Austin area, Marge began developing new friendships, many of which she would outlive as a natural consequence of her longevity. She never met a stranger. She had many friends and neighbors around her wherever she was living. Whether it was the Paisano Mobile Community, Englewood Estates, or her final residence at West Oaks Rehabilitation and care. She loved traveling, taking cruises with friends, and flying out to Las Vegas. Marge was a humble and unassuming human being who enjoyed simple pleasures in life. She had such a humor that carried her through the good and the bad that life can bring. Her example is that which could be followed through any walk of life with success and satisfaction. Marge died on 28, 2016. She left us being better human beings. She was deeply loved and shall be missed. Go with God.
