Obituary: David Dave Henry Weihausen, age 74, passed away after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be , 12, 2015 from 10 to 11 A.M at the pavilion in Faulkenberry with graveside services following at 11:00 A.M with Chaplin Mary Wilburn officiating. Dave was born 26, 1940 in Galveston, Texas. He attended St. Johns Lutheran Church and parochial school during which time he was baptized and reared in the Lutheran faith. In 1970, Dave met the love of his life, Suzanne Hudgins and married on May 15, 1971 in Houston, Texas. Upon moving to Groesbeck in 1973, Dave worked at Ferguson Chevrolet continuing his passion of selling cars and trucks. When his children were school age, he became involved in community, school and church organizations. Dave was a member of both United Methodist Churches in Mexia and Groesbeck where he was involved in youth leadership. Dave may also be remembered as owner of Billss Auto Electric. For many years, he serviced the automotive needs of many in the Limestone area. During busy farming months, he would work sunup to sundown to keep the tractors running, and made many late night trips to help someone in need. Mister Dave was well known for his humor and practical jokes and always having a hot pot of coffee ready for customers and friends that would simply drop in to shoot the bull while he worked. His customers became his friends. Dave is survived by his wife; Suzanne of Groesbeck, his children; David Weihausen of Ft. Worth, Wade Weihausen and wife Sara of Jarrell, Deborah Erskine of Station, Alan Weihausen and wife Heather of Groesbeck, Brian Weihausen and wife Mindy of Challis, Idaho, mother-in-law; Ruby Hudgins of Groesbeck, along with many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family wishes to sincerely thank all the staff at Providence Hospice, Mexia for their loving care for the past years. Obituary: Masetta N. Weigle, 92, passed peacefully away on morning, the 27th of 2011 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. Masetta was born on the 13th of May 1918 in Joplin, Missouri and was reared in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she married Lester J. Weigle on the 23rd of 1941. moved to Houston in 1960 and retired to Lakeway, Texas in 1976. Masetta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who enjoyed golf, bridge, reading, traveling and crossword puzzles. 63 years of marriage, she is preceded in death in 2005 by her devoted husband, Les. Masetta is survived by daughter Sally Weigle Wood and husband Perry of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, sons Robert A. Weigle and wife Diane of Houston, and Douglas L. Weigle of Houston and Lago Vista, grandchildren Perry Davis Wood II and wife Gina of Pflugerville, Anne Weigle McGarraugh and husband John Michael of San Antonio, Leslie Wood Plumb and husband Daniel of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Amy Weigle Dybala and husband David of Houston, Matthew Douglas Weigle and fiancé Christine Schwarte of Austin, and Erin Weigle Moore and husband Greg of Houston, and great grandchildren Jon and Addie Plumb, Josie, Amelia and Grayson McGarraugh, Riley and Trey Wood, Andrew Dybala, and Miles Moore. She is also survived by niece Paula Morton Davis of Yukon, Oklahoma and Cheryl Smith Weigle of Houston. The family wishes to thank the loving caregivers Lou Lee, Leita Carter, Tyeishe Brown, Grenell Lee, and Mary Hodge for their exceptional care and compassion. She was a graduate of Van High School, Class of 1940. She is preceded in death by her parents William Glenn Lunceford and Eula Belle Martin Lunceford, her husband John W. Weightman, her brothers Wilbern G. Lunceford and James E. Lunceford and her daughter Nancy Elayne Stanfield York. She is survived by six children Annette Dealy-Russell of Lake Dallas, Beth Sumrow of Richardson, Terry Weightman of Garland, James K. Stanfield of North Texas, John Weightman of Austin, and Sonya Travis of Garland; two brothers Billy Ray Lunceford and Bobby Joe Lunceford of Liberty; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other loved ones. Charlene lived in Dallas since the late 40s and remained at the same residence until her departure. She owned and operated Charmaes Beauty Salon in Casa Linda Shopping for over 20 years before retiring in her 50s to enjoy her talents with gardening, arts and crafts, and entertaining the family with her beautiful sense of humor. She was a member of the Valley Creek Church of Christ for over 60 years where she was a charter member of the congregation where it began in the Urbandale Community of Dallas. The services for Charlene are as follows: visitation and viewing at Grove Hill home in Dallas from 4-6 pm on , 7, 2010 and funeral procession on , 8, 2010 at the Valley Creek Church of Christ in Mesquite at 11 am; followed by burial services at Grove Hill in Dallas. |

Obituary: Alfons R.C. Weigelt of Alvin, Texas passed away on 2, 2016. Alfons was born on 20, 1931, in Carmine, Texas to Alfons and Alvina Weigelt. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Darlene Weigelt and his newborn son, Donald Gene Weigelt. Alfons retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after 42 years of service. He is survived by one brother, O'Neal Weigelt (Edna), of Austin, Texas, Daughter, Barbara Hamons (Warren), of Porter, Texas; and son, Daryl (Shirley) Weigelt of Alvin, Texas, 7 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Visitation will be , 6, 2016 at Brookside located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 from 12 pm to 2 pm. service at 2 pm with interment to follow. |
