Obituary: Donald Ray Donnie Watson, 67, passed away at his home on 6, 2016, after a long battle with many illnesses. At the end, he was surrounded by family and loved ones. There will be a celebration of his life on , 12, 2016 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at his residence, 106 Zephyr. The family requests that attendees wear something red in his honor as it was his favorite color. There will be a balloon send off as memories, thoughts and prayers will be shared at that time. Please come by and help celebrate his life. Final arrangements are under the care of Lemons . Donnie was born on 21, 1948 in Lamar to Voll Doollie and Bertha Dell (Dopp) Watson. He was the youngest of seven children. He married Beverly Harris in , 1968 in Plainview. Donnie was the owner of Dons Auto Sales of Plainview for 13 years. He was a diesel mechanic by trade for over 30 years. He loved being around family more than anything else. His greatest treasure was helping family and anyone in need. He never met a stranger. Donnie had many pleasures in life including playing slot machines, attending auto auctions and playing dominoes….(not particularly in that order). He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly, of the home; one son, Michael Watson of Cottonwood, AZ; two daughters, Misty Crocker of Kress and Kristy Watson of Plainview. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. |

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Bobbi) Watson and his four children, sons Michael Watson and wife Pam of Decatur, Georgia, Bob Watson and wife Whitney of Quitman, Texas, Thomas Watson of Temple and Horseshoe Bay, Texas and daughter Caryl Johnson of Dallas, Texas. He is Papa to his beloved grandchildren Taylor Johnson, Hannah Watson, Preston Watson, Hattie Watson, Madison Watson, and Stella Watson. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in engineering. He worked on the space program in his early career and then moved to Dallas and worked for many years at Texas Instruments and MCI. During his retirement he enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren as well as studying genealogy. |

Obituary: Denyse Elizabeth (Carpenter) Watson, age 64, passed away May 13, 2012, in San Antonio. She was born in Austin, Texas on 27, 1948. She was adopted at birth by two loving, wonderful people, Michael Patrick Daley and Jane Elizabeth Daley. Denyse spent her childhood in Elgin, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. She was a teacher in the NEISD for 34 years - 6 years at Camelot Elementary, 25 years at Woodstone Elementary, and 3 years at Wetmore Elementary. Denyse was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Wendell Watson; daughter, Kellie Samples and husband Eric; and granddaughter, Hunter Samples.
