Obituary: Charles Oliver Watson was born on 02, 1937 and died on 17, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas after fighting a battle with cancer. Charles was a happy man, always enjoyed doing whatever it was that he was doing. He truly whistled while he worked. He took pride in doing things right at work and at home with his family. He gave all and would have given more if he could. We miss his smile and his jokes greatly. He was a member of the IBEW Local Union No.60 for 55 years and served in The Air Force Reserves for 9 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Orin Toutan Watson and Ilene Baker Watson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Rose Larance Watson, 2 sons, Donald Watson, wife, Sheri, Barry Watson, wife, Rebecca and 4 grandchildren, Toutan Watson, fiancé, Lauren Lanciault, Shelby Watson, Wilson Parker Watson, William Peter Watson, 1 step-grandson, Daniel Cooper, wife, Shalynna and 1 sister, Helon Watson Loep. He is also survived by 5 sisters-in-laws, Barbara Rouse, husband r, Era Jacks, Ann Elsworth, husband, Jerry, Cecelia Darnell and Vicki Lopez and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. services will be held on , 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset on 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas. Obituary: Charles R. Watson passed away , 21, 2007 in his 89th year. He was born on 30, 1917 in Antlers, Oklahoma to the late Andrew Jackson Watson and Annie Laurie Reid Watson. Charles was educated in Arkansas public schools. He married his wife of 70 years, the previous Josephine Allen on May 8, 1937, while attending Arkansas A&M in Magnolia, Arkansas. In World War II he was a combat pilot of B-24 Liberators in the 15th Air Force in Italy. Shot down in 1945, he was credited with saving the lives of incapacitated crewmembers by piloting his damaged aircraft to safe a landing behind Russian lines. the war, Charles became a CPA and spent his professional career in San Antonio serving the Osborn Oil . He retired as President of Osborn Heirs Limited at age 71. Charles was a founding member of Sunset Ridge Church of Christ in 1949, and became one of the first Elders in 1952. He was a Rotarian, Boy Scout Troop leader, and an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his precious wife, Josephine; their son, Charles Jr. or ÂSkipperÂ, and wife, Janita, of Austin; brothers, Joe Watson and wife, Trudy, of Austin; and Fred Watson and wife, Pat, of Seguin; sister, Jane Watson of San Antonio; and sister-in-law, Betty Watson, of San Antonio; and the many others whose lives he touched. |

Obituary: Carol (Prine) Watson 1947 - 2017 Born Carol Lee Prine 18, 1947 to Martelle Catherine Ferree Prine and Willis Westmoreland Prine in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Carol passed peacefully at her home in Houston, Texas on 21, 2017. Carol is Predeceased by her Husband, Milton Tyrone Watson; Parents, Martelle and Bill Prine; Brother, Richard (Dick) Allen Prine; Sister, Elois Marcine Prine Robertson; her Brother-in-Law, Dwain Allen Sylvester and Sister-in-Law, Nita K Yates Prine. Carol is Survived by her Sisters, Janet Marie Prine Sylvester Heare (Bob) and Lou Eda Prine Surfus (Delbert); Step-son, Milton Tyrone Watson, Jr.; 14 Nieces and Nephews, many Great Nieces and Nephews and 4 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. She graduated in 1965 from Central High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she participated in Choir and Drama Club. Being organized and meticulous, she worked at various companies in both Fort Wayne and Houston handling accounts receivable and payable. Carol was raised as a Methodist and loved to visit other churches with friends. She enjoyed traveling and took a number of trips with her family around the US and Europe. Her yard had beautiful gardens. She loved Dachshunds and fostered dogs for rescue groups. Family was precious to her and she was happy that many of Tyrones family lived close. She loved being a part of the lives of the many children in her family and friends families. She always appreciated the help of her wonderful neighbors. She had a wicked sense of humor and made friends everywhere she went. Carol was strong and a tenacious fighter. We are grateful for the wonderful care and encouragement she received from the staff at MD Anderson and Houston Hospice.
