Obituary: Albert H. Warburton, III, DDS, passed away peacefully in San Antonio, Texas on 29, 2014. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on 10, 1932 to Albert Henry Warburton, Jr. and Agnes Baass Warburton, he attended Sacred Heart in Corpus Christi, Central Catholic and St. Marys University in San Antonio, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Texas Dental School. He spent his childhood summers in Victoria, working at the family ranch and at his maternal grandparents grocery store. Al practiced dentistry for many years, often providing services to three generations of families, finally retiring in 2009. He also served as a Captain in the Air Force, providing his dentistry skills to servicemen during the Korean conflict. An avid traveler, scuba diver, and photographer, Al traveled the world in search of the perfect photo, whether it be on land or sea. He will be truly missed by his family, his friends, and those who worked many years by his side in his dental profession. Al is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynette Warburton; his sons, Richard Warburton and Michael Warburton; daughter Lisa Cardoshinsky; grandchildren Jennifer Milner, Caitlin, Chloe, Rachel, and Chase Warburton; and great-granddaughter Madyson Milner. He is preceded in death by his children Mary Rose, Kevin, and Wayne Warburton. Per his request, Al will be cremated, with a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Obituary: Anita Elaine Wappel, 76, of Euless, Texas passed from her earthly life on , 29, 2017. She was born 18, 1940 to Frank Joseph Wappel and Alice Evelyn (Lakin) Wappel in the family home in Medaryville, IN where she spent her adolescent life. She graduated from Medaryville High School in 1958, and went on to airline school in Chicago. She was employed by Pan American World Airways in Chicago as a teletypist, then American Airlines as Reservations Manager at DFW for 34 years. She enjoyed traveling, dining out, investing, and keeping a meticulous home. She was a very deliberate and intentional person, with every aspect of her life planned with purpose. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Frank (1992) and Alice (2001) Wappel; dear friend, L. Lynne Stevens (2005); and infant brother Franklin, Jr. (1939). She is survived by Lynne’s daughter, Jessica Stevens (Mostafa Jbire) of Indianapolis, IN; best friend, Pearl (Ralph) Bradley of Hurst, TX; brothers Donald J. (Marilyn Miller) Wappel of Kokomo, IN; John R. (Vy Dinh) Wappel of Surprise, AZ; Rodger F. (Kathleen Patterson) Wappel of Medaryville, IN; Richard V. (Janice Simmons) Wappel of Sun City, AZ; sister Patrice S. (Irvine “Decker” Williams) Wappel of Phoenix, AZ; and Lynne’s grandchildren Hamza, FatemaZahra, and Noura (Jbire). Obituary: Gary Wapniewski, age 62, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on 10th, 2016 following complications of an aneurysm. Born in Depew, New York on 10th, 1953 to Benjamin and Lucy Wapniewski, Gary moved to Texas 38 years ago with his wife, Darlene and daughter, . He retired from Big Red Bottling after 27 years where he held many different positions, and was enjoying his retirement. He loved to travel, go gambling, and playing Bingo. Gary was an all sports fan, but remained a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan. Known for being a little gruff when he spoke, he had a heart full of gold and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and all the fur babies that brought smiles to his face. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eddie Wapniewski. Gary is survived by his wife of 39 years, Darlene, his daughter, and his Grand-dog Tank. He also leaves behind his sisters, Grace White of North Carolina, Lucille Sumeriski and Cindy Morton, both of New York, and his brother Paul, of New York and numerous nephews and nieces. The Wapniewski family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at University Hospital ICU for the excellent care Gary was given. At the familys request, no funeral services will be held. Chapel Hill is handling final arrangements and condolences can be left on their website. |

Obituary: Darlene Wapniewski, age 64 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on May 16th 2017. She lost her battle with MDS/Leukemia cancer. She was born in Batavia New York on 1st 1953 to John and Adele Dvoroznak. She is preceded in death by her Husband Gary Wapniewski and her parents. Darlene is survived by her daughter and her grand-dog Tank. Mom retired from Pepsi Bottling Group after 34 years, where she held various positions and was enjoying her retirement. She loved to go gambling and play bingo. She also helped at the Village Florist, owned and operated by her daughter . Darlene just had a birthday last month and had the experience of a lifetime with close friends and family. She was an Fools baby and everyone would tease her about it, but she loved it. Darlene was an advocate animal lover and was always willing to take in dogs/cats into our home. She LOVED all 3 dogs and 6 cats, her fur babies so much Sugar, Pookie, Skeeziks, Tom, Jerry, Miss Grey, Nikki, Cash and Tank. Darlene was the most amazing, kind, loving, fun, wonderful mother I could have ever asked for. She had a heart full of gold and would do anything for anyone. She leaves behind her brother Russ Dvoroznak of New York and nieces and nephews. The Wapniewski Family would like to thank AA Services and Hope Hospice for taking care of Darlene Wapniewski. At the request of the family there will be no funeral services. Chapel Hill is handling the final arrangements . |
