She is survived by two daughters (Carol Heil and Kathy Winkler) and a son (Beau Wann), 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She is preceded by Harold Wann, her husband of 57 years who she married in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to Houston, and Nelson Jacobs, her husband of 9 years and her first love, having first met and dated in Little Rock, Ark - separated by WWII and life for 67 years. She was born in Little Rock on 15, 1920 to Dr. r Stacy and Nellie White Jones. She attended and graduated at age 16 from Central High School, and attended and graduated from what is now the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she majored in drama and directed plays, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She was an avid student of history, and loved maps. She retired from Sears after 30+years, and ended her career as an auditor.
