Obituary: Robert Bob Wallace, 84, of Midland was called to duty by our Father in Heaven on , 12, 2009. Bob was born in Bradshaw, Texas on 30, 1925 to John and Elisabeth Wallace. He joined the United Stated Navy and served for three years. He also opened the first Bobs Better Burger in 1955. His hobbies included motorcycling and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elisabeth Wallace and five siblings. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Brasuell of Midland; five children, Renee Brasuell of Eugene, OR; one daughter, Roxanne Gonzalez; two sons, Slade and Sabien Brasuell, Shawn Brasuell of Dallas, Sharon Stafford of Euless; two daughters Britney Lesley and Abigail Stafford, Tonya Ward of Victoria; one daughter Skyler Brasuell, and Nicole Brasuell of Midland; one daughter Ashlynn Brasuell; two sons Aiden and Aaron Brasuell; and one sister. The family will receive friends at Ellis , 15, 2009 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. , 16, 2009 at Ellis Chapel with Reverend Phill Babcock. Obituary: Reginald Courtleigh Wallace was born on 29, 1955, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Spurgeon N. Wallace, Sr., and Priscilla Dumas Wallace. He was preceded in death by his brother, Spurgeon N. Wallace, Jr. On 6, 1990, Reginald married Angeleni "Angie" Delaney, and although no children were born to their union, Reginald loved children and they were drawn to him both in the family and in church. He graduated from Kelly High School in 1973, and attended Austin in Sherman, Texas. college and a stint of working at a chemical plant, Reginald returned to his earthly hometown to continue working in the service station industry, first alongside his father, and later in partnership with his brothers, carrying on the legacy of his father and establishing himself as a local businessman for more than 30 years. As a member of The Church at Lake Charles, he attended services faithfully and was an usher, was on the fund-raising committee, and was part of the offering counting team. Reginald was a kind-hearted soul, and where ever he went, people from all walks of life were easily drawn to his smile, kindness, cheerfulness, and patience. He was always willing to hold a conversation with anyone, and touched all generations of people with whom he came into contact. And though we know the Lord gives and takes away, and His name is to be praised, we were shocked and saddened when Reginald simply said "I'm tired," and the Lord, using natural causes, suddenly called him home on 2, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife; three brothers, Wayne C. Wallace (Melca) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Barron F. Wallace (Lisa), and Stephen N. Wallace (Damita), both of Houston, Texas; two aunts who assisted in raising him, Dorothy Dumas Green (Credell) of Seattle, Washington, and Martha Dumas Carmen of Beaumont, Texas; nine nephews, three nieces, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, as well as his church family. Obituary: Randy Merle Wallace, age 59, died unexpectedly , 1, 2014 at his home in Tyler, Texas. He was born 19, 1954 in Austin, Texas to the late James Wallace and Vina Milam of Liberty Hill, Texas. Randy worked in various jobs in and around the Austin area in construction and truck driving positions before settling in Tyler, Texas several years ago where he worked as an electrician until health issues forced him into early retirement. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was always the first hunter out on the opening day of deer season, looking to bag the biggest buck. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his little brother Tracy Lynn. Obituary: Ralph Richard Wallace 81 of Pasadena Texas passed away on 21, 2015 at Pasadena surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Wallace was born on 12, 1934 in Darlington S.C to Richard and Elsie Wallace. Ralph is survived by his wife Lois of 43 years, son Ralph Thigpen Jr, daughter in law Jennifer Martinez-Thigpen, daughter Elizabeth Barfoot, and son in law Miles Barfoot. He is also survived by eight grandchildren Michelle Sharah of Nashville, TN, Josh Thigpen of Los Angeles, Ca, Jacob Cheatwood of Clearlake, TX, Hannah Thigpen of San José, CA, Nikki Barfoot, Kimberly Barfoot, Miles Barfoot, and Jennalei Martinez of Pasadena, TX. Ralph is also survived by four brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews, and cousins; Steven Bone, Robert Wallace, Jerry Wallace, Virginia Hall, Patricia Higgins of Hartsville SC and John Wallace of Naples FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sisters Bobbie Jones, Mazie Crowley, and Brother Joe Wallace. Ralph Wallace was a painter, sand blaster, and when he retired he did maintenance for Sunset Methodist Church and American Legion. He was also a member of Deer Park Church of God. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Pasadena Chapel. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Ratchford of the Deer Park Church of God. Burial will be held at a later date in South Carolina. The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Tran, Pasadena , and Hospice for their care of him in his last days. Obituary: RD Wallace passed away at his home in Dallas on 17, 2015. RD was born to Gussie and Edna Wallace in Roscoe, Texas on 22, 1925 and grew up on their farm. RD loyally served in the army toward the end of World War II. While in service in Germany RD met and fell in love with Ellen Leowsky. As soon as he possibly could, RD made arrangements to bring Ellen to America to be his wife. enjoyed 68 years of love and devotion to each other. RD and Ellen moved to Dallas from Roscoe in 1949, where he was employed with an auto convoy service. He later joined the Ford Motor in their automotive plant and was an exceptional auto mechanic for his career until the plant closed in 1968. RD was a talented auto mechanic and restored many cars and trucks to show quality status in his spare time. Both he and Ellen were active members of the Dallas Area Classic Chevy Club and the Model A Club of Dallas. also pursued many active hobbies such as scuba diving at Possum Kingdom Lake where they camped out on many weekends with their son and daughter, which inspired them to purchase a lot on the lake for a family cabin. Together, he and Ellen constructed the cabin where they and their two children enjoyed many years of boating, scuba diving, and skiing. He was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast throughout his life. RD and Roger, while in his late teens, built a race boat and were active in boat races around Texas and Oklahoma. RD and Ellen were members of Lakeside Baptist Church of Dallas. RD is survived by his loving and devoted wife Ellen, his daughter Margie Grey and son-law Carl from Dallas and son Roger Wallace and daughter- in-law Carol from Possum Kingdom Lake. RD has four grandchildren: Farrah Grey and her fiancée Brian West of Dallas, Andrea Johnson and her husband Brandon of McKinney, Justin Wallace and his wife Tammy of San Francisco, and Sabra Hinson and husband John of Aledo. RD has five great grandchildren: Cooper and Dillon Johnson, Sawyer and Georgia Donnell, and Jacob Hinson. |
