Obituary: Mrs. Marilyn Louise Flossie Walker (Temple) was born on 15, 1955 in Monroe, Louisiana to JW Temple and Clara Cobb. She was an outstanding warrior for God. She married Ronald Walker Sr. on 11, 1977. moving to Houston, Texas, the couple welcomed three children into their home and Marilyn set about teaching them the word of God. She was a generous individual who loved everyone that crossed her path and was passionate about friends and family. She was a dedicated member of the Women's Auxiliary of Aldine Fire Department. Marilyn passed away peacefully in Memorial Hermann Hospital Katy on 16, 2017 in Katy, Texas at the young age of 62. She is survived by her husband; Ron Walker Sr, daughter; Crystal Walker, sons; Ron Walker Jr & Robert Walker, brothers; Larry, Byron, Roger, Irvin, & James Craig Jay Temple, grandson; Dylan Walker, granddaughters; Bridgitte Naylor & Faith Fancher, daughter-in-law; Ashley Walker, Sister-in-laws; Jane & Lindy Temple, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She's preceded in rest by her grandparents; Green Irvin & Margaret Flossie Temple, her parents; JW & Clara Temple, her brothers; Keith, Terry, & Gary Temple, daughter-in-law; Sofia Walker. A funeral is scheduled for 21, 2017 at The First Assembly Of God Church in Humble and she will be buried at Calvary Hill . Pastor Milton Pool will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marilyns life. Obituary: Marilyn Thomson Massey Walker, age 85, passed away 12, 2016. She was born on 19, 1930 to Earl and Mina Thomson in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from South San Antonio High School in 1948 where she was chosen Most Beautiful Girl because of her poise, graceful manner, pleasant smile and lovely appearance. She was married to her first true love Phil Massey for 30 years until his death in 1981. She later married Alvin Walker in 1991 until his death in 2010. Marilyn was employed by Shell Oil in the 1950s but then became a homemaker upon the birth of her only child in 1960. She was active in the PTA and in her church Vestry. Marilyn loved to cook and entertain. She was an excellent seamstress. She loved to dance and enjoyed travelling. Marilyn was named Mimi by her grandchildren and many friends only know her by that name. Mimi was thrilled to have become a great grandmother earlier this year. She will always be remembered for her strong independent spirit, sense of adventure and love of beautiful clothes. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Joe Kaspar; her sister, Patricia Hearn; her grandchildren, Phillip (Liz) Kaspar and Laura (John) Myrick; and great grandchild, Lily Jane Kaspar. Very special care providers that have become like family: Elena Bird, Mary Gutierrez, MJ Philie and several Visiting Angel friends. Obituary: On , 23, 2017 the heavens rejoiced and the angels sang on the arrival of Marie Walker, lovingly known as Mema. Marie was the second daughter born to Anna Annie Helena Streit Hoeldtke and William Fredrick Willie Hoeldtke on 16, 1928 in Oklaunion, Texas. She spent her younger years in Bowie, Texas on the family farm. While attending Bowie High School, she met Robert C. Walker and they married May 26, 1945 in Bowie, Texas by Pastor Danielson of the St. Peters Lutheran Church. To this union, three children were born - Robert C. Walker, Jr.; David F. Walker; and Anne E. Walker. Mr. Walker went to work for Continental Oil in 1945, having thirteen different assignments during the first year, Marie became a master at moving households at a moments notice. later settled in Midland, Texas in 1960. Never one to sit idly by, Marie became active in her Church. She served as secretary for Grace Lutheran Church and later as treasurer for Midland Lutheran Church. She was a secretary for Getty Oil and Texaco Phillips. Marie was a masterful homemaker be it sewing clothes for her family, knitting, crocheting, cooking from scratch, and growing and canning vegetables. Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walker; her son, David Walker; her daughter, Anne Cihonski and husband Rick; her sisters, Alberta Boehm and husband Richard, Lydia Ellison and husband Bill, Geraldine Gerling and husband Bob; her brother, George Hoeldtke; and her brother-in-law, Felix Wiley. She is survived by her son, Robert C. Walker, Jr. and wife Sandy; her daughter-in-law, Wanda Walker; her many grandchildren, Raquelle Trimble and husband Jerry, Robert C. Walker III and fiancé Jenny Bouldin, David Walker, Jr., Matthew Walker and wife Kimberly, Jon Walker and wife Emmeline; her many great grandchildren, Brian Walker, Chance Trimble, Chasidee Trimble, Lucy Walker, baby boy Walker (only Mema knows the name); her sister, Ruby Wiley and sister-in-law, Penny Hoeldtke; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held , 27, 2017 at Ellis from 1:00pm to 8:00pm, family will not be present. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on , 28, 2017 at Midland Lutheran Church. are under the direction of Ellis of Midland, Texas. Obituary: Marian Louise Wieting Walker went to be with the Lord at 6:15pm, , 31, 2011. Marian was born 15, 1922 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert William Wieting of Cuero, Texas. She attended several schools in Texas before graduating from High School in Palestine, Texas. Marian then attended Sam Houston State in 1941. In 1942, Marian married Charles L. Walker in Bremerton, Washington. WWII, the family made their home in Denison and Sherman, Texas with their two children. In 1953 they moved to Paris, Texas and spent the next 50 years where she was active in the First Methodist Church, President of the PTA and extensively involved in numerous civic, school and social activities. Marian was a master seamstress, loved to garden, play bridge and travel. In 2002, the Walkers moved to San Antonio, TX to be closer to family and have enjoyed the Independence Village Community for the past nine years. Marian is survived by Charles L. Walker, her beloved husband of 69 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Larry Franklin, of San Antonio; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Tricia Walker of Neptune Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Kelly and Neil Hardwick, Kristi and Jason Borchardt, Brien Walker and Brent Walker; great-grandchildren, Ryann and Joshua Hardwick, Makenzie, Chandler, and Isabella Borchardt. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. , 5th at Porter Loring Mortuary North. SERVICE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2011 11:00 A.M.
