Obituary: Cynthia Elizabeth Walker, 91, of East Ridge, departed this life on , 20, 2015, in a local hospital. She was born 21, 1923, in Chattanooga to the late Walter Neal and Mamie Louise (Stephens) Mathis. She retired from Combustion Engineering after many years of service and was a member of the Greens Lake Road Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris E. Walker; son, Larry Walker; brothers, Walter, Robert, James, Woodrow, and Joe Mathis; and sisters, Margaret Mathis and Evelyn Jarrett. Survivors include her son, Walter L. (Mary Helen) Walker; grandchildren, Neal Walker, Eric (Michele) Walker, Greg Walker, Myra Canady, Stephen (Rita) Walker, Daren (Darcy) Walker, and David (Alicia) Daniel; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jennie Davis and Barbara Roberson; brother, Fred Mathis; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on , 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Services will be at 2:30 PM on , 24, 2015 at the funeral home with Minister James Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South. Obituary: Claude Bernard Walker, IV, 38, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away , 20, 2015 in a Memphis hospital. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had spent his work life in the food service industry. Bernie was a member of the Chattanooga Boys Choir where he achieved the rank of student assistant. He loved to play his guitars, piano, and organ and was an ardent Atlanta Braves fan. Bernie is survived by his father, Claude (Sharon) Bernard Walker, III and his mother . Dr. Elizabeth Dickinson Karsner ; brother, Dr. Michael D. (Mindy) Walker; sister, Shelley Walker Mason; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, , 27, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Stake , 3067 Ooltewah Ringold Road. Burial was held in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. |

Obituary: Claude William Walker, 79, of Arlington, TN, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital 19, 2011, after a brief illness. Claude was born 5, 1931 to Thomas S. Walker and Sue Phillips Walker of Ralph, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama and was a U. S. Army veteran. He had a long career in the insurance industry and retired as bond manager of the Ohio Casualty Insurance in 1996. Claude is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ella B. Walker; two daughters, Paula Walker DeSimone (Paul) of Cordova, TN and Amy Walker Keetley (Charles) of Tampa, FL; grandson, Jacob Walker DeSimone, who called him "Popeye"; one brother, Ross Walker (Margie) of Ralph Alabama; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. Obituary: Clark E. Walker, age 52, of Oak Ridge, died on 17, 2015, at Methodist Medical due to cardiac arrest. The love of his life is his daughter, Macartney. He was a professional musician, specializing in playing bass guitar. He dedicated his musical talent in serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with gladness at the Lifehouse Church in Oak Ridge where he is a member.
