Obituary: OBITUARY FOR JOHNNY JUNIOR JUNEBUG WRIGHT Tahlequah, OK- services for Johnny Junior bug Wright will be held on , 27th, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor JE Cook officiating. Visitation will be held on , 26th, 2015 from noon until 5:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held at Blue Springs at a later date. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.reedculver.com. Johnny Junior Wright was born on 31st, 1943 in Pitcher, OK, the son of Walter and Bettsy (Kirk) Wright. He grew up with eight siblings, Harold, Bill, Viola, Margie, Johnny Clyde, Walter, Vina, and Jimmy. He served in the US Army in 1960 at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri. On 5th, 1975, he married his wife, Kay Ellen Iliff in Peggs, OK, at the United Methodist Church. This union was blessed with three children and thirty eight years together. bug worked as a custodian for the Cherokee Elementary School in Tahlequah, OK. He enjoyed his job and liked making the environment for the children clean and tidy. When he had free time, bug liked to watch TV and enjoyed wrestling and soap operas. He loved to visit with his brothers and share a cup of coffee. He enjoyed being outdoors and like to swim and picnic. He was happiest when surrounded by his family. He had a delightful sense of humor, was funny and had a way of turning popcans into the loudest whistles to catch his childrens attention. He was very proud of his grandchildren, and every moment in their company was wonderful to bug. His beloved wife Kay passed in 2014, and not long after, bugs health began to fail. A Christian by faith, bug was called to his eternal home on 23rd, 2015 at his home in Tahlequah with his family by his side. He was 72 years old. He will be greatly missed. bug is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jimmy Charles. Those left to cherish his memory include his three children, Johnny Russell Wright and companion Jessica of Arkansas, Tammy Wright and companion Armando Cantu of Tahlequah, OK, and Carla Jennings and husband Ray of Stilwell, OK. His legacy lives on in his grandchildren, Justin Layne, Sarah Wright, Derick Wright, Brionka Magareno, Russell Wright, Eric Wright, Anna Jennings, and Mason Jennings, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. |

Obituary: John Leslie Wright, Sr. passed away surrounded by family in Oklahoma City, OK on , 9, 2017 at the age of 73. John is survived by his wife, Ruth Davis Wright of Edmond, OK; son, John Leslie Wright Jr. and daughter-in-law Melody Wright; daughter, Janienne Bella and son-in-law Tony Bella; grandchildren, Cooper Wright, Cale Wright and Blake Bella all of Edmond, OK; his sisters, Linda Fix and brother-in-law John Fix of La Porte, IN; Patricia Querry and brother-in-law Roger Querry of Francesville, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents William Wright of Cayuga, IN and Iris Spencer Wright Page and step-father Eugene Page of Francesville, IN; sister Karen Wright of Francesville, IN. John was born on 11, 1943 in Danville, IL to William and Iris Wright. He married Ruth Davis, his high school sweetheart on 15, 1964 and they were married 53 years. Upon high school graduation, he began a 52 year career with Trinity Industries. He enjoyed a lengthy railcar manufacturing career in Indiana, Texas and Oklahoma. The couple raised two children, J. and Janienne, in Edmond, OK. His children and grandchildren remember him as a genuine, ornery and thoughtful soul who loved spending time fishing, golfing, cooking and hanging out with family. John was extremely knowledgeable in welding and steel fabrication and was known by his willingness to teach others. He was generous with his time, witty with his humor and a father figure to many. The family will be receiving visitors at Baggerley on , 12, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, and a service to celebrate his life will be , 13, 2017, at 11:00 am, at Acts 2 United Methodist Church at 4848 W Covell Road, Edmond, OK 73012 with a luncheon following. Reverend Mark Foster will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Johns life.
