Obituary: Rev. Everett Ted Wonder, age 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on , 3, 2016 at 2:15 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville, Ohio. He was born on 7, 1924 in y, Ohio, to the late Irvin & Bertha (Stahl) Wonder. He is survived by his foster children, Gary Burgard of Columbus, Ohio, Anika Juras of Hood River, Oregon, Susie Mouyos of Ramona, California, Linda Clark of Greenville, Ohio, Diana Blythe of Buxton, Oregon, Tracey Herrera of Lusby, Maryland, and Donna Busic of Dayton, Ohio; brother and sister in law, Lynn & Ruth Wonder of Lebanon, Ohio; sister in law, Jean Wonder; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Maser) Wonder; brothers, Robert and Morris Wonder; sisters, Alice Davie and Patricia Wonder. Rev. Wonder was an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church, with over 40 years of ministry serving churches around the West Ohio Conference. Most recently, he attended First United Methodist Church in Greenville, where he was formerly a director of childrens ministry. He also enjoyed 26 years of performance as a Christian Clown. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Greenville, and Blue Lodge Mason of Toledo, Ohio. Rev. Wonder has been very active in the Boy Scouts of America since 1958. He was a graduate of North Central of Arts with a Bachelors of Arts in 1948, then he continued his education at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1951 with a Bachelors of Divinity. There will be a service held on , 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the 1st United Methodist Church, 202 West 4th Street, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Angela Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville , Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at church. are under the direction of Zechar Bailey , Greenville, Ohio. Obituary: HOWLAND TWP.- John Lewis Womer, 79, passed away on , 20, 2015 at the Hospice House in Poland with his loved ones by his side. He was born on 23, 1936 in New Castle, PA, son of the late, Louis and Lois (White) Womer. John retired from WCI Steel in 1997 and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1955 to 1959. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Warren where he served as a trustee, and a member of the Twosum Forum and Kirk Club. He was also a member of the Vienna Fish and Game Club and the Cortland Conservation Club. John enjoyed spending time in his vegetable garden and taking photos; but most of all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Kay (Campbell) Womer; daughters, Lori (Joe) Sylvester, Karen (Tim) Sanders and Holly (Scott) Lane; grandchildren, Kristen (Sam) Fries, Kimberly Sylvester, Jason (Beth) Palette, Michael Sanders, Jacob Lane, Steven (Arianna) Lane and Abbey Lane; and one great-granddaughter, Veronica Jo Fries; one sister, Jeri Harris and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lois Womer; one grandson, Shaun Palette and one sister, Doris Groves. Calling hours will be held on , 23, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44483, from 2:00 P.M. Obituary: Anna Jean (McCabe) Womer, age 90, of Coshocton, passed away in Columbus on , 27, 2017. Anna Jean was born on 7, 1927 in Canal Lewisville to the late John H. and Nellie M. (McGiffin) McCabe. Anna Jean graduated from Muskingum with a Masters in Education and was an elementary school teacher for the Coshocton City Schools before she retired. On 24, 1948, Anna Jean married her late husband, Allen Croft Womer, who preceded her in death in 2012. Anna Jean was a life member of Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church and of OEA and ORTA. She also was a member of the Coshocton OEA, chapter #157, the Marie Shrine #34, the Ohio State White Shrine, the J.F. Lautenschlager Chapter of Retired Teachers, and the Coshocton Community Band. Some of the hobbies that Anna Jean enjoyed were painting, knitting, and sewing. Anna Jean is survived by her three children: Sue Ellen (Ronald) VanWinkle, Michael Allen (Cassandra Clancy) Womer, and Steven John (Dianna) Womer; four grandchildren: Melissa (Dan) Schuster, Jennifer (Donald) Marangoni, Kimberly VanWinkle, Michael (Jenelle) VanWinkle; four great-grandchildren: Catherine VanWinkle, Jeffrey VanWinkle, Michael VanWinkle, Jr., Steven Marangoni; and two sisters: Martin and Eleanor Moore. Along with her husband and parents, Anna Jean is preceded in death by her sister, Edith McCabe. He was born in Coshocton on May 13, 1929, the son of the late Russell John and Irene Victoria (Croft) Womer. Allen worked at the Coshocton JVS as Maintenance Supervisor, from which he retired after many years of service. He was a member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #96, Coshocton Council #110, Samaritan Chapter #50, Coshocton Commandery #63, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge 32 degree, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem #34, and the Order of Eastern Stars #157. On 24, 1948 Allen married Anna Jean (McCabe) Womer, who survives. In addition to his wife, Allen is survived by his three children, Michael Allen (Cassandra Sue Clancy) Womer, Steven John (Dianna L.)
