Obituary: William C. Bill Wilson, 84, died peacefully at home 27, 2015. Bill a native of Gaston , was born 15, 1930 and lived all of his full life north of the town of Dallas. He was the son of the late Samuel Morris Wilson and Leola White Wilson. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving with the 45th Infantry Division during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He retired from Gaston Dyeing Machine after 34 years of service having worked in various capacities. He was an avid gardener and possessed a wide knowledge of farming and horticulture. Bill was a lifelong and faithful member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Gastonia, NC. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy Ingle Wilson; son Charles Daniel Wilson and wife, Penny, of Dallas; son William Thomas Wilson of Salisbury; and brother, Donald L. Wilson of Mount Holly. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by sister, Dorothy L. Wilson and brothers, Thomas M. Wilson, John S. Wilson, and James Robert Wilson. The family will receive friends , 28 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at the Dallas in Dallas. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Matthew Kuiken and Dr. Jeff Morrison at First A.R.P. Church, 317 S. Chester Street, Gastonia, NC, 2:00p.m. , 29. Interment will follow at the Philadelphia Lutheran Church cemetery, Dallas, NC. Pallbearers will be: Lawrence Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, Scott Pagan, Richard Greer, Clint Clemmer, Jeff White. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First A.R.P. Obituary: Mr. William Grip Buster Wilson, 67, passed away , 7, 2014 at the Hinkle Hospice . A resident of this area most of his life, Buster was born on 19, 1947 in Columbus , NC to the late Javie James and Mary Alice Coleman Wilson. He was a member of Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church and had worked as a truck driver for over 45 years. Buster enjoyed hunting, fishing, and life itself. He loved cooking, evangelizing, and helping out at the church. Surviving are his wife, Faye Stephens Wilson of the home; sons, Richard Dean Wilson and his wife Pennie Leigh of Lexington and William Aggrippa Wilson and his wife Stacie Yvonne of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter, Merrialys Margrett Wilson; sister, Sandra Kaye Hutchins and her husband Junior of Lexington; brother, Robert Glen Wilson of Lexington; niece, Sarah Melissa Wilson; and nephews, Kevin James Hutchins and Mitchell Hutchins, both of Lexington. A celebration of Busters life will be held at 7 pm , 9th at Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church with Pastor Junior Hutchins and Pastor Reggie Rakes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A cryptside service will be held at 11 am , 10th at Holly Hill Memorial Park . Obituary: William Howard Coach Wilson, age 83 of Marion, NC passed away on , 12, 2013 at Burke Hospice, 1715 Enon Road, Valdese, NC with his family by his side. He was born on 3, 1930 to the late Mr. Jay William Wilson and Mrs. Mae Womick Wilson of Rutherford, NC. He was employed by various public school systems in several surrounding counties serving as football coach, assistant principle which encompassed more than 40 years of service . He loved kids and his family and was instrumental in all of his family meeting their educational goals. Everyone knew him as Coach Teddy Bear Wilson. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; spouse Betty Jean Wilson, sons; Eugene Wilson (Spud), Donnie Wilson, Joseph (Joey) Wilson; daughter Rebecca Davis and a brother Rev. Donald Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Wilson of the home, sons Terry Wilson and wife Brenda of Hickory, Ronnie Wilson of Statesboro, Ga, Derrick Wilson of Hendersonville, Robert Womick and wife Diane of Marion, Jerry Womick and wife Melisa of Nebo, David Womick and wife Bebe of Winchester, Va., and Rev. Daniel Womick and wife Barbara of Marion. He is survived by one daughter Megan Serzan and husband Chris of Johnson City, Tenn. Two brothers survive Coach Wilson; Glenn Wilson and wife Camella of Hickory, NC and Bob Wilson and wife Bernice of Marion. One sister survives; Edith Edwards and husband S.J. of Marion. He is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. services for Coach Wilson will be conducted on , 16, 2013 beginning at 2:00 PM at Cross Memorial Baptist Church with the Revs. Doug Prevett, Danel Womick and Ronnie Owens officiating the service. Visitation will be on , 15, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at McCall Kirksey Chapel in Marion, NC. Burial will follow the services at Cross Memorial Baptist Church following the funeral services on with military rites provided by the U.S. Navy. Flowers are welcomed and appreciated.
