Obituary: Louie Brown Willis, 66, of Marion, died , 12, 2012 at Mission Campus in Asheville. Born on 22, 1945 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Brown Willis and Doshia Branch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Pupava. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen Jones Willis; sister, Betty Schmidt of Michigan; brother, Eddy Willis of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Service of Remembrance will be held 1:00 p.m., , 17, 2012 at North Cove Church of God with the Reverend David Price officiating. Burial will follow the service at McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214.
