Obituary: Susie Boykin Williamson May 1, 1928 – 18, 2015 Susie Williamson, 87, died at home at 1616 Airport Blvd on 18, 2015 after a long and vital life as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, Southern cook extraordinaire and nurse to many in the community. services will be held graveside on morning, 19 at 10:30 AM in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash St. in Wilson. The family will receive visitors at Thomas-Yelverton 2704 Nash St. immediately after the service until 12:30 PM. Survivors include one son, Bill Williamson and fiance Teresa Glover of Atlantic Beach; two daughters, Sue Ellen Thompson and husband Ralph of Raleigh and Ann Williamson and husband Bern Shen of San Francisco, CA; two grandsons, Jake Williamson and wife Christy of San Diego, CA and Daniel Thompson of Oakland, CA and one granddaughter, Jessica Donohue and husband Mike of Raleigh; two sisters, Polly Bailey of Kinston and Faye Williams of Newport News, VA, along with a number of nieces and nephews in NC and beyond. Obituary: Gastonia - Steven Allen Williamson, 66, of Gastonia passed away 26, 2011 at Brian in Mooresville. A native of Gaston , he was the son of the late Alonzo Williamson and Helen Hammett. Mr. Williamson was a supervisor at Rhynes Manufacturing Incorporated and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hice Williamson of Gastonia; step-children, Gary Randall Wilson and wife, Karen of Lincolnton, Angela Heard of Mt Holly, Crystal Straton and husband, Ken of Hendersonville, Wayne Allen Wilson and wife, Cynthia of Charleston, SC, Susie Wilson Maiers and husband, Jamie of Dallas; brothers, Jim Williamson and wife, Jane of Alexis, Richard Dick Williamson and wife, Sybil of High Shoals, Roger Williamson and wife, Carolyn of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Williamson. A graveside service will be held 2 pm at Gaston Memorial Park with Bishop Dorsey Funderburk officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Carothers in Gastonia.
