Obituary: Thomas Edgar Wheatcraft, 76 of Staley passed away , 26, 2014 at Randolph Memorial Hospital. Thomas was the son of the late Clarence and Viola Mae Wheatcraft. Thomas was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; sister Pearl Paschall: brothers Jack Wheatcraft and Dean Wheatcraft. A private service will be held at a later date. Mr. Wheatcraft was born on 20, 1950 in Richland , Ohio to the late William Wheatcraft and Leila Harris Wheatcraft. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Cheyenne Wheatcraft. Survivors include his wife, Freda Wheatcraft of the home, children Ashley Wheatcraft, Honey Loehmer, Will Wheatcraft, Dawn Anderson, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Obituary: Paula Whaley Whealton, 59, of New Bern, died May 7, 2014, at home. She was a member of Pilgrims Rest FWB Church. She was a hairdresser for 38 years and worked at Milady's for 20 years. Paula is survived by her husband Tim Whealton; her father, Jack Whaley of Wilson; one son, Tony Berg and fiance Christy of Jacksonville; three daughters, Leigh Berg of Vanceboro, Courtney Vasquez and husband Juan of Las Flores, CA, Susan Paul and husband James of Ocracoke; one brother, Dan Whaley and wife Brenda of Wilson; and her grandchildren, Parker Berg, Gracyn and Hailey Pittman, Zachary Gilmour, Jamie and Arabella Paul, Jackson and Larken Whaley, Joseph and Ryann Vasquez. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. , May 10, 2014, at Pilgrims Rest FWB Church in Cedar Island, NC.
