Obituary: Eva Mae Westmoreland Wall, 91, passed away on , 10, 2014 at Coventry House in Siler City, NC. Eva Mae was a member of First United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir for many years. A graveside service will be held, , 12, 2014 at 2pm at Fairview , in Liberty, NC with the Reverend Marion Smith officiating. The family will receive friends , 11, 2014 from 6pm \ 8pm at Loflin in Liberty, NC. She was preceded in death by husband, Johnnie A. Wall; her parents, Laurie Albert and Eva Westmoreland; sisters, Edith Westmoreland, Ann Duncan; and brothers, Rex Westmoreland, Raymond Westmoreland, L. J. Westmoreland, Cleo Westmoreland, William Westmoreland and Tommy Westmoreland. She is survived by her son, Marvin Wall (Barbara) of Staley; grandchildren, John Wall of Staley, Tina Callahan (Tim) of Staley; Great Granddaughter, Madison Callahan of Staley; and sisters, Trudy Jordan of Liberty, Ruby Lee Isom of Staley and Rena Stephens of Liberty. Obituary: From Ecclesiastes 3: FOR EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON AND TIME FOR EVERY MATTER UNDER HEAVEN. A TIME TO BE BORN.Dustin Duane Wall was born in Wray, Colorado on 29, 1970 to parents Richard Duane and LuAnn (Green) Wall, joining a big sister, Wendy Denise, a perfect addition to the family. He was baptized into the United Methodist Church and joined the church in his youth. A TIME TO DIE.He passed away 17, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds in Winston-Salem, NC at the age of 39. A TIME TO BUILD UP.He grew up on the farm in Sandborn, near Haigler, Nebraska learning to love and care for his numerous farm critters. He always had something tied up: pigs, chickens, rabbits, lambs, baby calves, and his horse Pickles. He attended Haigler Elementary School. The family moved to Wray, Colorado when he was eleven years old and there he attended Wray Elementary and Buchanan Middle School. A TIME TO SEEK.Dusty graduated from Wray High School with honors in 1989. He was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in football and basketball. As a senior he was elected coming King by his peers. 4-H calves and pigs were always a summer activity. A TIME TO LAUGH AND A TIME TO DANCE.A lover of music, he participated in band and choir. The farm life in Nebraska and Colorado gave him many responsibilities that shaped him into a generous, dependable, fair-minded young man and prepared him for his adulthood. A TIME TO SPEAK.He earned his Associate of Arts from Northeastern Junior in Sterling, Colorado and graduated in 1993 from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado with a degree in Agriculture Education and a minor in Agriculture Business. Many lifelong friendships were established there. He had a great concern for education all of his life. A TIME TO GATHER STONES TOGETHER.Dusty purchased the Wall Family farm from his grandfather and continued his great love of farming, turning that farm into a beautiful productive adventure. He always said, I sure had fun making it alive with crops of wheat, corn, and alfalfa, with a cow-calf operation and 4-H pig projects, too. graduation he also worked for the First Pioneer National Bank as an appraiser. He had a great appreciation for all the people that he has worked with. He was a great farmer. A TIME TO LOVE.Dustin met a North Carolina gal, Laurie Christine Moore Christy. were married in Wray, Colorado on 5, 1997. Two precious little girls, who he adored beyond measure, were born, Sydney Elise on 28, 1998 and Gracie Jane on 1, 2002. A TIME TO SEW, A TIME TO REAP.Dusty gathered many friends in his lifetime with his work ethic, great spirit, unique sense of humor, and generous nature. He was active in the community, serving on the Up With Music Board, singing in the Community Christmas concerts, and acting in Paint Your Wagon and Hello Dolly with the Wray Cliff Dwellers Acting and singing Society. He was a member of the Agriculture Education Advisory Committee and RD2 Board of Education. A special interest to him was the school bond issue for the arts and athletic complex addition to the schools in Wray. A TIME TO EMBRACE.The Wall family established their home in Clemmons, North Carolina in of 2009 after dealing with his serious illness. There he made many fast friends and with his family, he enjoyed the southern warmth and beauty. A TIME FOR PEACE.He received and appreciated Gods gifts that he should eat and drink and take pleasure in all of his toil. Although he had many unfinished plans, he knew his next journey was going to be amazing. A TIME TO WEEP, A TIME TO MOURN.He leaves us with so many memories to celebrate. The celebration of life will be conducted at Vogler , Reynolda Chapel, 2951 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC (336-722-6106) on (2/20) 3:00 PM, with Dr. Stephen Martin from Pine Grove United Methodist Church officiating. He will be laid to rest at Forsyth Memorial Park. Family and friends will visit on from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Memorials in North Carolina may be made to Kate B.
