Obituary: Markus Andrew "Andy" Williams 42, Of Waveland, Mississippi went to be with the Lord , May 20,2015. Andy was born on 15,1973 in Houston, Texas to Suzanne Showers and Gregory Mark Scardino. He was a graduate of Chester Nimitz High School in Houston, Texas. Andy was the Husband of Michelle Williams. shared 16 years of marriage together and have 3 beautiful children. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Church in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Andy was an avid lover of music and enjoyed fishing. His greatest joy came from being a devoted father to his children. He had the best sense of humor and always put a smile on the faces of all his friends. If you were a friend he considered you family. Andy is survived by his Wife Michelle, Daughters Kelli and Konni and his son Markus Jr. His Mother Suzanne and Step Father Randy Rush, Father Greg Scardino, Grandfather George Showers and Fadra Sharp, Sisters Misti Williams and Kelsey Scardino. Obituary: Margaret “Nonnie” Funchess Williams, 91 , passed away on 6, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Village in Ridgeland. She was born on 12, 1924 in Point, MS to Hiram Floyd and Maude Methvin Funchess. graduating from Hazelhurst High School as Valedictorian of her class, she continued her education at Copiah Lincoln Junior in Wesson, MS. Margaret met her husband, Emmett (E.J.) Jordan Williams, Jr. while working at a military base in Jackson where E.J. was serving as an officer in the US Army Air Corp. were married on 2, 1950 and remained in Jackson where E.J. was a prominent homebuilder/realtor. During their 49 years of marriage, they traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad. Margaret enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. “Nonnie”, as she was lovingly called, spent much of her time with her five grandchildren. Each one of them has special memories of the fun and laughter Nonnie brought into their lives. She had a love for gardening, cooking and making her home welcoming for family and friends. Margaret and E.J. are fondly remembered by many for hosting their annual Ole Miss/Miss State football parties at their home in Rollingwood. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Hiram Floyd Funchess, Jr. Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Carol Coleman (Reagan), Kay Allen (Jimmy) and Diane Neely (Johnny), all of Jackson. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Jordan Williams (Wesley), Nashville, TN., Bo Allen (Mary Kathryn), Cooper Allen, Hannah White (Harley), all of Jackson, Reid Neely of Atlanta, GA. and two great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the loving care by the staff of Sienna II at St. Catherine’s Village. especially thank Dr. George Patton and Leslie Haines of Internal Medicine Group and Kelly with Gentiva Hospice, for the years of attention and care. The visitation will be , 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, both at Parkway in Ridgeland. A family graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Mississippi animal rescue center of your choice. |
