Obituary: Peggy Tuggle Williams, 77, of Velvet Ridge, went to be with the Lord on 7, 2014 in her home. She was born 12, 1937 in Velvet Ridge, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Robert Tuggle and Laurece Weathers Tuggle of Velvet Ridge, and sister to Ronnie Tuggle and Bobby Tuggle of Velvet Ridge. She married Don Buddy Williams on 28, 1952 in Morton, Arkansas. She was a member of Velvet Ridge Church of God since her early teenage years. Her servant hood was demonstrated through her commitment to God, her husband, and family. Her works, love, and often going out of her way to help people, created a legacy that she prayed would have a perpetual impact on future generations of her family. Her common theme was to encourage everyone to always love one another. She was an avid cook, known far and wide for her special casseroles, biscuits and shear ability to throw a meal together in mere minutes. Her insistence that anyone visiting her home should eat, only further evidenced her servant hood. In fact, its well known that anyone that left hungry, must have been too sick to eat. Her love of cooking was further utilized through her service at the Bald Knob School Cafeteria. She gladly served amongst her friends for 21 1/2 years. She was described as being in her element while at work. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don Buddy Williams; four children and their spouses, Mary Williams McGillvray, Kathy (Randy) Williams King, Terry (Paula) Williams and Greg (Shannon) Williams all of Bald Knob; fifteen grandchildren, Chad McGillvray, Cale McGillvray, Jessica (Chad) McGillvray Koenig, Trenity King, Jacob (Ashley) King, Daniel King, Amelia (Chris) King Garner, Ashley (Josh) Reagan, Andrew Williams, Tera (Justin) Williams McCleney, Jordan Clark, Dakota Osborne, Alexandria Williams, Cameron Williams and Lexi Williams; Twenty great-grandchildren; Zoey, Callie, and Miley McGillvray, Trenity King, Emily, Ray, Gillian and Zeke King, Aaron Dale King, Ashton, Jenna and Kyera Garner, McKinley, Dawson, Hannah and Hayden Reagan, Brecken and Lennox McCleney and Alen Clark, two sisters in law; Freda Tuggle and Arlen Tuggle; two aunts, Emilene King and Pauline Mason and a host of extended family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Laurece Weathers Tuggle; siblings, Ronnie Tuggle and Bobby Tuggle; grandsons, Chad McGillvray and Trenity King; and great-grandson Zeke King. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Velvet Ridge Church of God. Services will be conducted , 10, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at the Velvet Ridge Church of God.
