Obituary: Wigent (Miller), Lois Mae Of Spring Arbor went home to be with the Lord , 19, 2014 at the age of 100. Mrs. Wigent was the daughter of Ora and Edith (Sellers) Miller born 7, 1913 in Angola, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Dale Wigent; granddaughter, Lori Raymond; six brothers; five sisters. Lois is survived by two children, Judy (Duane) Raymond and David (Peg) Wigent; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister Eleanor Kuster; numerous extended family. Lois was a Reading High School graduate; she retired after 25 years of service with Kent Moore Corporation as a key-punch operator. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Lois was a devoted Detroit Tiger and Pistons fan. She and her husband were avid bowlers into their 70s. Lois dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Great Lakes Hospice and Arbor Manor Rehabilitation and for their loving care. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Chapel , 24, at 1:00 P.M. Reverend Walter Walkowski officiating, interment Spring Arbor . Obituary: Michael Mike Wigman was born on 27, 1952 in Lansing, Michigan, the loving son of Loren & JoAnn (Cole) Wigman, passed away 16, 2016 at the age of 63. He was a loving husband, son, and brother. He is preceded in death by his father, Loren; sister Sue Ellen Webb; brother David Cole Wigman; wife Connie Robison Wigman, and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his devoted and caring wife, Bonnie Linn Wigman, mother JoAnn, and sister Cindy Wigman (Jim Carter). Also surviving are aunts Evelyn (Vernon) Howe & Florence (Fred) Peterson, as well as many cousins, friends, and his beloved dog Lyndi. Mike was a graduate of Mason High School in 1971. He worked for the State of Michigan Agricultural Department. He enjoyed the cottage at Houghton Lake, spending time on his boat, hunting & fishing, and going to MSU football games. Obituary: LOREN BYRON WIGMAN Age 86, passed away peacefully at home on 31, 2015. He was born at the farm in Holt, Michigan on 6, 1928, the loving son of Byron and Cora (Arend) Wigman. He was a loving husband of JoAnn for 64 years and a dear father to Michael (Bonnie) Wigman and Cindy (Jim Carter) Wigman. Loren was a dear brother of Evelyn Howe and Florence Peterson and was loved by many nieces and nephews. Loren was preceded in death by daughter Sue Ellen and son David, as well as daughter-in-law Connie Robison Wigman. Loren graduated from Holt High School in 1946. He retired from Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #333. Loren enjoyed spending time with his family, playing tennis, golf and playing cribbage with his nephew Doug. He also enjoyed MSUs football and basketball games. Loren will always be remembered for his kindness and great sense of humor. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on , 5, 2015 at Aurelius Baptist Church, 4419 W. Barnes Road, Mason, MI 48854 with Pastor Stephen Aikin officiating. Interment will take place at Maple Ridge in Holt. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the funeral services at the church. Obituary: Ann D. Wigley, 84, passed away in Portage, Michigan on 19, 2017. Ann was born in Dundee, Scotland to Alexandrina Ferguson and Richard Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John and George; her husband, Alfred Wigley; and also their infant daughter, Sandra. Ann is survived by her daughter, Carol (William) Martin; her son, Richard (Rujun) Wigley; and her grandson, Jonathan Martin. Ann and Alfred immigrated to the USA from Scotland, first settling in Detroit, and then later in Jackson, Michigan. Ann took great pride in her Scottish heritage, but also viewed the day when she received American citizenship as one of the highlights of her life. Ann retired from her position in sales at Sears in Jackson where she made many good friends, not only her fellow employees, but also among the many customers who came to visit her in the hardware department. Ann loved to travel, primarily to Britain to visit her family, but also on Caribbean cruises and even once to visit China and take a walk along the Great Wall. Ann had great love in her heart for others, especially for infants and small children for whom she kept a seemingly endless supply of toys at the ready. Ann will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Bickford Senior Living of Portage for their kindness and for the care given Ann. A celebration of Anns life will be held on 10, 2017 at 2 pm at the funeral home with visitation from 1:00 pm until time of service. |
