Obituary: Charles R. Williamson was carried into glory , Jan. 7, 2010, at 9:30 p.m. He was surrounded by his wife Kim, and daughters, Charlotte, Roxy and Beth, who thought he was the greatest thing this side of heaven. He had other family members who felt the same way. He considered his sons-in-law, Robert Blair and Billy Kugler, as his own sons and loved them deeply. No words could describe his love for his little Amy, Lizzy, Adam and Sara. When I asked God to send me a husband, He sent the very best He had. He had been by my side taking care of me ever since. He was so proud of his beautiful daughters and he bragged on them all the time. He loved the Lord and took care of his family and others as he knew God would have wanted him to do. Many times he would ask me, "You think God will be proud of me today?" and I would read him scripture giving him a response from Gods Holy Word. Survivors include his wife, Kim Williamson; daughters, Charlotte Blair, Roxy Kugler and Beth Williamson; a brother, Elton Williamson; sisters, Sue Cowart, Pansy Melancon, Linda Smith and Merrydale Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie; two brothers, Richard and Stanley; and both parents. Visitation at Greenoaks on from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on from 10 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park. |
