She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Jean Waguespack and her parents, Joseph Peter and Frances Bender Fabacher. She is survived by her son, Michael Otis Waguespack (Sandra), her daughters, Frances Anita Waguespack Norwood and Julie Waguespack Andre’ (Al), her grandchildren: Tracy Lee Norwood, Sara Adams Sinclair (Cayman), Lauren Dylan Waguespack, Andre Michael Waguespack and her great-grandchild, Sullivan Stirling Sinclair. She was a retired teacher with the St. James Parish School Board with 40 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents; Sidney P. Waguespack, Sr. and Blanche Haydel Waguespack, a brother Sidney P. Waguespack, Jr., a niece, Pamela Waguespack and a nephew, Leo Bourgeois, Jr. Survivors include her brother, Haydel A. Waguespack, Sr. and his wife Leanne of Garyville, La, her sisters, Marcelle W. Haydel and her husband Claude, and Blanche W. Troxclair and her husband Leon, both of Jefferson, La., Jewell W. Cuccia and her husband Louis, of Terrytown, La., and Gaynell W. Bourgeois and her husband Leo, of Vacherie, La., nieces Michelle B. Schexnayder and Nannette B. Nickens, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on , 24, 2010 from 9:00 am until 11:15 am at the St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie. Obituary: Cyrille Michel Waguespack, Sr., 95, a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather and a lifelong resident of St. James, died on , 13, 2014 at his home. He was one of the founding members of St. James Sugar Co-Op. He served on the Board for First American Bank and Trust and on the St. James Parish School Board. Cyrille was a lifelong sugar cane farmer and the very last days wanted to be updated on the status of this years cane crop. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Iberts from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:00 a.m. Henry was an automotive mechanic by trade, initially with Joe Hoy, and retired from Ray Gross Motors. In his earlier years he worked as a deck hand and eventually became a tug boat captain. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as camping, working on his boat, and spending time with his great grand-babies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ophelia Domingue Waguespack; his daughter, Cheryl W. Adams and her husband Gary; his grandchildren, Natasha Heidbrink, Lacie Heidbrink and her husband Joey, and George Adams; his great grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Owen, Cullen, and Jacen; his sister, Maudry Marty Myers; and his brother, Clay Adam Waguespack. Obituary: Charles Paul Waguespack, 88, a resident of Thibodaux, LA passed away , 4, 2014. Visitation will be at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church on , 6 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with burial immediately following in St. Joseph . He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Enola Gros Waguespack: son Paul (Manette) Waguespack, and daughters Carol (Danny) Blanchard and Mary (George) Gaudin. Charles is also survived by five grandchildren: Karen Gaudin, Ann Blanchard Maxwell, Catherine (Chris) Jeanice, Christopher (Caroline) Blanchard, and Kelli G. (Brian) Priest, as well as three great grandchildren: Aidan McIlvaine, Anna Catherine Maxwell, and Brian Priest III. Three siblings: Rita W. Benoit, Blaise Waguespack, and Eloise W. Gros also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amilcar and Rosema Waguespack, and sister Lilly Rose Gros. Charles was an Army veteran who served his country honorably in WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was involved in many community and church projects and was especially honored to have served as the Commander of VFW Post 5097. Charles spent his entire life in the sugar cane industry and enjoyed traveling the world as part of his longtime service with Cameco Industries. His family offers special thanks to his care giver Hattie Bergeron and Southeast Louisiana War Veterans for their loving care.
