Obituary: Terrence Keith Winsted, 72, of West Terre Haute, passed away at 2:15 p.m. , Oct. 21, 2015, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Terrence Winsted was the rock and root of his family and he passed down to all of us, his family, a firm foundation of truth and an unceasing love for God. He was deeply loved, respected and admired by all. He laughed and teased continuously, lived life with joy and he loved selflessly. He is now singing the songs of praise and receiving the reward for which he has lived his entire life! We have more to go to Heaven for than we did yesterday! He retired from Bemis Corporation in Terre Haute after 35 years of service. He was born Nov. 16, 1942, in Terre Haute, to Clifford Winsted and Esther Riley Winsted. He is survived by his wife, Patricia DiAnne Howard Winsted; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Narlock and Pastor Sylvester Narlock of Clintonville, Wis.; two sons, Bradley Winsted of West Terre Haute and Jeremy Winsted and his wife Angela of Niles, Mich.; two brothers, the Rev. Buddy Kline and his wife Shirley of West Terre Haute, and David Winsted and his wife Pearl of Terre Haute; six grandchildren, Elyshah Narlock, Micah Narlock, Moriah Narlock, Silas Winsted, Samuel Winsted and Walker Winsted; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved dog, Zoie Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ronnie Winsted. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Terre Haute. He was an excellent piano player and loved singing quartet gospel music which he began doing as a teenager and had sang with the Gospel Chords Quartet for many years. He was a bible study teacher and loved the word of God. He was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School class of 1961. He was an incredible artist, enjoyed working puzzles, mushroom hunting, traveling and reading. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts. services will be 1 p.m. , Oct. 24, 2015, in New Life Fellowship, 7849 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, with Pastor Sylvester Narlock and Evangelist Micah Narlock officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time in the church. Fitzpatrick assisted with arrangements.
