Obituary: G. Laverne (Gray) Williamson, 98, of Evansville, went home to be with Jesus on 28, 2015, at her home. She was born 20, 1917, at home, in Lamasco, KY, to the late Robert P. and Effie Mae Gray. Laverne worked as a seamstress early in life, and liked word and jigsaw puzzles. Her two great loves in life were being with and cooking for her family. If you left her house hungry, it was your fault. She never thought you ate enough and always asked what else you wanted to eat. She was a member of New Bethel Southern Baptist Church. Laverne is survived by her children, Robert Buck (Rita) Williamson, Freda (Ronnie) Holder, and Rick (Susanne) Williamson, all of Evansville; brothers and sisters, Christine Williamson, Robert L. Gray, Gary G. Gray, James Gray, and Barbara Lindsey; grandchildren, Jeanne (Ken) Lizotte, Bob (Stephanie) Williamson, Brent Holder, Holly (Jake) Shores, and Scott (Abi) Williamson; step-grandchildren: Mike Macer, Josh Macer, and Joey Macer; five great-grandchildren; five great, great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, C. Chester Williamson; parents; stepmother, Lona Gray; and brothers and sisters, Emmitt Gray, Earl Gray, Lewis Gray, Lucille Kilgore, Beulah Ramey, Lindel Gray and Lillie Bell Cole. Special thanks to Deaconess Hospital/VNA Hospice for their kind and special care. services will be held 10:30 AM , 2, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mark Lowe, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. She previously worked as a social worker for the Salvation Army less Shelter, Head Start and Arch Crisis . She was a loving mother and enjoyed caring for others. Obituary: Donna Sue (Farny) Williamson, 55, of Evansville, passed away , 22, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital. She was born on , 19, 1959 to Brenda and Gerald Farny. Donna grew up on a farm near Elberfeld, IN and graduated from Central High School. She worked as a beautician for 15 years. Donna then graduated from USI School of , and was an RN at Evansville Surgical Associates. She enjoyed dancing, horses and the outdoors. She was a meticulous person and kept her home in such a manner. Donna valued physical fitness and took frequent walks with Daniel. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald B. Farny. Donna is survived by her daughter, Holly (Jake) Shores, Nashville, TN; son, Scott (Abi) Williamson, South Beloit, IL; mother, Brenda Farny; sisters, Karen (Jim) Harbison, Vonda (Roger) Kovalchik, and Susan (fiancée Fred Spencer) Messic; nephews and nieces, J. Isaiah Harbison, Jessica and Joshua Kovalchik, Jordan Harrison, and Haley Messic; uncle, Jack Erwin; and her best friend and love of her life, Daniel Hensley.
