Obituary: Sue S. Wheeler, age 74, of Bloomington, died at I.U. ; Bloomington Hospital. Born 6, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Lester and Theolene Saeman. Sue graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1959. She maintained a lifetime membership with Delta Delta Delta. Sue started with the City of Bloomington Title XX Child Program in 1986. She worked her way up to become the Director of Human Resources, responsible for the Nutrition Project for the Elderly, the Farmers Market, Womens Commission, Helenes House for the homeless, and many other projects. While Director of Human Resources under Mayor Tomi Allison, Sue was charged with researching and establishing the Bloomington/Monroe Community Foundation as well as the Self Sufficiency Task Force. Sues special skill was to work with community social service directors to initiate and create various Social Service Services that would then become self-sustaining. Sue also worked as Dietician for the Monroe Correctional , which she found very rewarding. Sue was a member of the First United Church in Bloomington and the IU Bloomington Hospital Local Council of Women. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Terry, of Carmel, Indiana, her sister, Jane Sauchak, of Canton, Michigan, her sister-in-law, Barbara Clark, of Bloomington and two grandchildren, Stephen Terry and Erin Terry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gerry Gordon Wheeler, in 1994. A memorial service will be held on , 28 at the First United Church at 11 A.M. with Rev. Caela Simmons Wood officiating. Friends may visit the family on at Day , 4150 E. Third Street , Bloomington, IN. from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Obituary: Roselyn Joyce Wheeler, 87, of Evansville, passed away , 19, 2015, at Newburgh care . She was born 26, 1928, in Patoka, IN to the late Floyd and Caroline (Schurmeier) Wheeler. She retired from Savings Bank after 46 years and had worked under five US Presidents. Roselyn enjoyed swimming, quilting, piano, and purse making. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Roselyn is survived by her brother, Leroy (Linda) Busing; niece, Debra Ann (Paul) Wiseman; nephew, Randall Lee (Idee) Busing; great-niece, Laura Wiseman; great-nephew, Greg Wiseman; and cousin and good friend, Janice Weightman. Services will be 3:00 PM , 22, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Dr. Todd A. Gile. Burial will be held in Walnut Hill , Ft. Branch, IN. Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care that Joyce received at Newburgh care , especially to the nurses and staff on the West Unit.
