Obituary: On , the 26th of , 2015, Maebel Miller Wilson passed at the age of 86 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. Maebel was born on the 19th of , 1928, the daughter of Hamon Miller and Lois Matthews Miller in Paulding , Georgia. At the end of World War II, she moved from the family farm in Paulding to Atlanta after graduating from Dallas High School. She soon met Travis Wilson in Atlanta, and they were married at First Baptist of Atlanta in 1947. Maebel spent most of her career as the vice-president of Townsend Properties, working with Kil Townsend in managing four Howard Johnson's Motor Lodges, the Tech Motel at Georgia Tech, and the Corsair Motel at Jekyll Island. In 1974, she became the first woman to become president of the Atlanta Hotel-Motel Association. She enjoyed her hobbies of gardening and competitive ballroom dancing, was active at First Baptist Church of Atlanta and later at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, loved her family, and was a strong Christian. Her son Mark, daughter-in-law Marie, grandson Travis, and granddaughter Rachael were with her when she left. She opened her eyes for a short time, looked at them with gentle eyes, tried to speak, and was gone a few minutes later. We grieve her passing but are blessed that we were able to have been by her side as she passed, blessed that she is no longer suffering, and blessed that she is now with The Lord Jesus. She was a caring, loving, and gentle lady. It was our honor and pleasure to have known her as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. We will forever love you and miss you! She is survived by her son, Mark Wilson of Smyrna; daughter-in-law, Marie J. Wilson of Alpharetta; two grandchildren, Travis Lindley Wilson and Rachael Marie Wilson both of Alpharetta; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Judy Miller of McDonough, Frank and Emma Miller of Roswell, Steve and Lynn Miller of Rockmart, and Ray and Alice Miller of McDonough; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn in Villa Rica, , 30, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will be conducted , 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn in Villa Rica with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Concord . Obituary: Mrs. Lynn Jordan Wilson, age 60, of Cartersville, GA., passed away, , 13, 2016, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Wilson was born in Cartersville, a daughter of the late Roy Jordan and Sibyl Doss Jordan. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed cooking and traveling with her husband. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her cherished nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Mr. Gary C Wilson; a daughter, Dawn Wilson, husband, Ed Kilgore, of Pacific Grove, CA.; sister, Sharon Cline, husband Lee, of Cartersville; sister-in-law, Yvonne Wilson Sweat, husband Mike, of Cartersville; nieces, Jenny Collier, husband Donnie, and Cherish Rhodeback, husband, Kevin; three nephews, Marty Teems, wife Kenya, Shawn Teems, wife J.J., and Kyle Teems, wife Carla, as well as several great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at eleven oclock in the morning on , 16, 2016, in the chapel of Owen with Rev. Joe Nix and Rev. Ronnie Cline officiating. Obituary: Lynn Gosz Wilson, 67, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away , 3, 2015, at her residence. There will be a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. on , 9, 2015, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Black Creek, WI, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Marys Catholic Church cemetery with her nephews serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Wilson was born 28, 1947 in Appleton, WI, the daughter of Leo Nicholas Gosz and Dorothy Louise Butler Gosz. Lynn was a graduate of Seymour High School. She was a dedicated homemaker and worked for Pioneer Products (Betty Crocker). While in Bainbridge, she was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and also St. Joseph CCW. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Survivors include her children, Tammy Lynn Brock and her husband, Greg, of Bainbridge, GA; Tracy Ann Whitaker and her husband, Jamey, of Bainbridge, GA; and Timothy Roger Wilson and his wife, Tammy, of Bainbridge, GA; her siblings, Joanne Kaczrowski and her husband, Gene, Carol Truyman and her husband, David, Richard Gosz, Dennis Gosz and his wife, Linda, Jean Morrow, Janice Murphy and her husband, Gary, Gerald Gosz and his wife, Tammy, Diane Gilbert and her husband, Tommy, Mary Kent and her husband, Jim; her grandchildren, Gregory Brock, Candace Cofty and her husband, Patrick, Cortnee Howard, Tucker Brock, Ryan Whitaker, Colby Whitaker, and Zac Wilson; and her great-grandchildren, Callen Cofty and Camden Howard.
