Obituary: Donald Lee Wilson, 69, of Darien, GA, died 30, 2010 at the Brunswick Hospital of Southeast Georgia Systems. A native of Knight Station, Florida born 12, 1941 to the late Bascom Wilson and the late Elizabeth Fox Wilson. Mr. Wilson had been residence of Waycross, Georgia for twenty years and has resided in Darien for the past four months. Mr. Wilson was a carpenter by trade from which he retired. He enjoyed his family and fishing. Mr. Wilson leaves a legacy of memories and will be sadly missed by all. Survivors include his wife Shirley Gertrude Wilson, his children Johnnie Wilson, Belinda Sweat and husband Pete, Katina Sweat and husband Gary, and Donnie Wilson all of Darien, GA, two brothers David and Franklin Wilson, a sister Wilma Lee Ellis and husband Kenneth, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. There are no services at this time. Mr. Wilsons memorialization was by cremation. are entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons and Oglethorpe Crematorium in Brunswick, GA. |

Obituary: Mr. Dennis Wilson, 57, died ( 6, 2015) at the Mayo Clinic System in Waycross following a sudden illness. He was born in rville, GA but had lived in the Ware and Pierce area most of his life. He was an electrician who enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Mr. Wilson was a son of the late Frank Dennis Wilson and Clio Bennett Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Wilson of Blackshear; four children, Tammy Skipper of Ocala, Tina Wilson of Ocala, Vicki Aldridge of Blackshear, and Justin Wilson of Fitzgerald; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; three brothers, Raymond Wilson (Janice) of Waycross, Wayne Wilson (Faye) of Blackshear, and Melvin Wilson (Connie) of Blackshear; two sisters, Linda Sue Sweat (Randy) of Nicholls and Linnie Mae Taylor (Joe) of Blackshear; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. ( 14, 2015) at Jordan New Congregational Methodist Church in Dixie Union. Memorialization will be by cremation. Obituary: Delmar Lamar Wilson, 74, of Bon Loop Rd., Aragon, GA, passed away , 12, 2014, at a Polk medical facility. Mr. Wilson was born in Taylorsville, GA, on 2, 1939, the son of the late John Wilson and Grace Head Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in the U. S. Coast Guard for 20 years, including two periods of service in Vietnam. Among the medals he received were: Navy Unit Commendation, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Gallery Cross Unit Citation, Vietnam Civil Action Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Medal, National Defense Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the U. S. Coast Guard Sea Service Ribbon. In addition to his years of military service he was an engineer for the State of Georgia, retiring from Georgia Regional Hospital in Atlanta in 2001. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church where he served as an usher and was active in various capacities with the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. For hobbies he loved gun collecting, airplanes and trains. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Anne Dougan Wilson; children, Delmar J. Wilson, Gena A. Wilson, Grace Maria Wilson and Christina Sweeney; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A funeral mass was held , 16, 2014, at 12 noon at St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Patrick Kingery and Deacon Stuart Neslin officiating. A reception followed in the Parish Hall. A Rosary service was held , 15, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Daniels led by Deacon Stuart Neslin and Steve Thacker. A visitation followed the Rosary. Interment was in the Georgia National near Canton, GA, on , 17, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. with honors provided by the military. |

Obituary: Mr. David M. Wilson, 67, of Woodstock, GA passed away 9, 2014. He was born on 3, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Archie and Janet Wilson. David served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. returning home, David worked as a diesel mechanic for Cummins Diesel. He then worked for many years at Ryder Truck Rental, working his way up to becoming the service manager. David also worked as the maintenance person at Braton Green Church Camp, AKA the Gray , in Canton, MS until his retirement. He loved camping, fishing and cheering for the Greenbay Packers. David enjoyed working with children, and taught the three year old school classes. David served as the president of his HOA in Mississippi. He also served on the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and operated a Ham radio in Woodstock, GA. He worked hard and could fix just about anything. David was a man of God and devoted to his family. He leaves behind his wife, Diane Wilson, sons, David Wilson (Anne), Thomas Wilson and Brett Wilson, grandchildren, Nicole, Brandon, Nolan, Catherine and Alyson Wilson, great-granddaughter, Kassidy Bitler, brothers, Jim Wilson, Roger Wilson (Sue), Joe Simo (Sharon) and John Simo (Donna) and sisters, Christine Purdy and Joanne Andersen (Craig). A memorial service will be on , 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Woodstock in the Fireside Room at 11:00am. Interment with military honors will follow at Georgia National . The family will host a reception at the Brookshire Subdivision Club House after the interment.
