Obituary: WHITE, Frances G., 87, passed away 16, 2015, with her loving family by her side when the Lord called her home to be with him. Frances, daughter of Flander and Eunice Clark was born 15, 1927. She was their youngest daughter and the last of their fourteen children. Frances met and married her high school sweetheart. were married 63 years, at the time of his passing. raised five children, and shared many happy memories together. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved her flowers, gardening, and cooking family meals. She was a very caring and thoughtful woman, who always had time to listen and was always devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maryland; son, Eugene; grandson, John, as well as ten brothers and three sisters, She is survived by four children, Carol White, Daryl (Martha) White, Garland White, Keli McGraw, 11 grand-children, 16 great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. We will deeply miss her smile, her little wink of the eye, and her laughter. We will never forget her love and we will carry it with us always. We love you, Mom, now and forever more! Obituary: Florence Josephine Frances White, 86, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on 5, 2016 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers. She was born on 28, 1929 in New York to parents, Atillo and Iside Barboni. graduating high school, Florence worked as a bookkeeper and clerical worker. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed many interests such as reading, knitting, crocheting, swimming, Mah Jongg, pinochle and volunteer work. She had volunteered at Cape Coral Hospital for 16 years, as well as Kiwanis Thrift Shop. She enjoyed visiting with friends and playing Mah Jongg at the Lake Kennedy Senior , and knitting with a group weekly at the Cape Coral Library. She loved reading stories to her grandson and watching him grow into a polite and respectful boy. She was caring, kind, thoughtful, and a loving person who always had a smile regardless of her medical issues. Although, she could be known to have a New York-Italian attitude at times, which spiced things up a bit. Florence will be dearly missed by her children; Ms. Dora Farnesi, Mr. Larry Farnesi, Dr. Michelle White and son in law, Mr. Brian Miller; grandchildren, Mrs. Angela Zorrilla, Ms. Nicole Farnesi, and Sawyer Whitemiller; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Devon, and Lucas Zorrilla; and brother, Mr. Jim Barboni. She is also missed by her loving pets, Santa Paws, Fishbone (who is patiently waiting on her bed for her return), Milo, Lollipup, and Bunny. She was preceded in death by her first husband Mr. Loris Farnesi (divorced), second husband Mr. George White; and sister Ms. Mary Ribeiro. A visitation will be held on , 9, 2016 from 10AM until 12PM at the Fuller Metz Chapel. The service will commence at 12PM, followed by a reception at the funeral home. Memorial funds may be made to www.donate.hopehcs.org. The family would like to thank all of the medical professionals who have helped Florence over the years. Their care and guidance enabled her to live a full and wonderful life. Her life can be summed up in three words: Resilient, Tenacious, and Contented. The love between us is a spiritual bond that death cannot sever. |

Obituary: Fay B White, long time Naples resident, died peacefully at the age of 96, on 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and caregivers. She was the third of five daughters born to C.P. and Esther Balch in Hugo Oklahoma, and she had a wonderful childhood growing up on a small farm. Fay's father was the town's school principal and church lay leader, and her mother was an amazing homemaker, carpenter, electrician, businesswoman, inventor and seamstress. Learning at her mother's side, Fay showed a special gift for design and sewing and began making her own clothes at a young age. graduating from Oklahoma State University in 1941, she worked for a designer in California, turning his sketches into finished garments. When WWII interrupted her career in fashion, she returned to Oklahoma and became a school teacher, a profession she proudly practiced until her retirement more than forty years later. She taught home economics and was known for her beautifully designed head-to-toe outfits, which often included matching covered shoes, purses, and hats. A petite model, she was frequently featured in regional magazines and on television wearing her designs. The next twenty years saw her high school sewing classes full, and a generation of young women proudly wearing their own creations inspired by their teacher. In 1962 she and her husband, Neil decided to move to the lovely little fishing town of Naples, where they had previously enjoyed vacationing. immediately joined the First United Methodist Church where they found a close circle of friends and remained members for life. Fay began a long career with the Collier School System as a librarian at Lake Park Elementary School. Following Neil's death in 1969, she went back to school, earning a master's degree in Library Science at Colorado State University. She then returned to Naples and opened the libraries at the new Lely High and later Barron Collier High. Fay is survived by her only child, Esther Duncan (Ray) of Naples; four beloved grandchildren, Donna Ritchie of Gainesville Alan Ritchie (Kara) of Pensacola, Steve Duncan (Katie) of Chicago, and Rachel Duncan (David) of New Haven, CT; and three great grandchildren, Ananda, Truitt, and Allison. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
