Obituary: Lawrence O. Larry Walls, who died 1, 2010, was born the youngest son of a farmer on May 13, 1937, in Robinson, Illinois. He lived a selfless life always putting the needs of others before his own. Larry embodied the spirit of a servant leader. He was a devoted husband, father and a friend to everyone that knew him. The service will be held at 10 a.m. EST at the Woodville United Methodist Church. The burial will follow immediately after at the White Church . The viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. EST , at Culleys Meadow Wood Riggins Road and one hour prior to the service at church. He served honorably in the United States Air Force for 21 years. During his time in the military, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for ground actions during the Viet Nam War. He was also the recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and numerous other citations and awards. He retired after achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. retiring from military service, he worked another 20 years for the State of Floridas Department of Transportation. Larry was an active member of the Woodville United Methodist Church for 32 years often serving as lay leader. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and a daughter, Toni. Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; a son, Billy and his wife, Bonnie; sister-in-law, Anne Pelt; sister-in-law, Lois Walls; as well as his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Rachel, Rebekah, Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Rick Damron, Medical Group of North Florida, the good people of Capital Regional Medical and Big Bend Hospice for their loving care of Larry. are under the direction of Culleys MeadowWood , Tallahassee, FL. |

Obituary: Jeanette R. Walls, 90 of Apopka, FL passed away peacefully on 25, 2014. She was born in Ocoee, FL on 19, 1923. She worked for many years for Nelsons Florida Roses, and she loved plants and roses. Her family was the joy of her life and she had a love for scrap booking. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Walls in of 2000. She is survived by her children: Patsy Sauer, Larry Walls, Thomas Walls, Wayne Walls and Mary Brantley; her brother, Dallas Oliver; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on , 28 from 6 \ 8 PM at the funeral home. Service will be 11 AM , 29 in the chapel of Collison y Hand , Winter Garden with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. |
