Obituary: Anniston - Rev. Charles David Vinson, 89, of Anniston went to be with the Lord on , May 22, 2017. services will be held , May 26, 2017 at noon at Chapel Hill with Rev. David Earl Vinson, Bro. Randy Bentley, and Rev. Ronnie Chapman officiating with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Rev. Vinson is survived by his children, David Earl (Joan) Vinson, Ricky (Pam) Vinson, and Keetha (Greg) Gann; grandchildren, Chasity (Jeff) Holsomback, Chad Vinson, David Earl Vinson Jr., Jenni (Clint) Curvin, and Jacob (Carrie) Gann; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) Strawn, Austin Holsomback, Micah Holsomback, Dylan Vinson, Hunter Vinson, Chase Vinson, Luke Curvin, Brenlee Curvin, Bryson Gann, and Maris Gann; sister, Kathryn McKenzie; brothers, Boyd (Ann) Vinson, and Jerre (Annie) Vinson; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jacob Gann, Clint Curvin, Chad Vinson, Jeff Holsomback, Craig Bentley, and Stanley Owen. Honorary pallbearer will be David Earl Vinson Jr. Rev. Vinson. was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Mavis Vinson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reaves; brothers, Rufus Vinson, Alfred Vinson, Paul Vinson, and Edison Vinson. Rev. Vinson was a lifelong resident of Calhoun . He retired from M& H Valve Co. with over 30 years of service. He was the former pastor of Holly Spring Baptist Church, Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church #2, Blue Springs Baptist Church, and Fairview Heights Baptist Church and served as Interim Pastor at several churches in Calhoun . He was a veteran of the U.S Air Force and a member of Fairview Heights Northside Baptist Church. Rev. Vinson loved the Lord with all his heart and served Him with a joyful and thankful heart. Obituary: Juanita Carolyn Triplett Vinson, 71, of Rock Hill, SC passed away 6, 2015 at her home in Rock Hill. Carolyn was born in Anniston, AL to Douglas and Juanita Triplett on 30, 1943. She was a 1961 graduate of Anniston High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in Accounting. She attended Duke Universitys Fuqua School of Business as a member of the first class of weekend Master of Business Administration students. Following high school she married Thomas Maynor Vinson of Anniston, AL. She was his wife, partner, and friend for 54 years. She was a loving mother to three children, Michael Vinson, Cynthia Richardson, and Timothy Vinson; a doting grandmother to five grandchildren, Matthew Vinson, Shelby Halpern, Katherine Richardson, Olivia Richardson, and Rebecca Richardson; as well as a special great-grandmother to Kaylee Vinson. Her family and friends will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy and most of all her love for life. She was never afraid to try new things and passed that fearless, adventurous spirit on to her children, grandchildren, and great-grand daughter. She taught her family and friends to live life to its fullest and enjoy every minute. Carolyn made an impression on everyone she met and a difference in the lives of many. Visitation will be held at Gray Brown-Service Chapel, 1329 Wilmer Ave in Anniston, AL on 10, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm with a graveside service at the Vinson Family at 11:00 AM on , 11,2015. Stanley was born on May 8, 1945 in Smyrna, TN. He graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile in 1963. He was a caring father and grandfather, and loved his wife JoJo with all his heart. He was a successful local businessman owning several businesses during his life. A funeral is scheduled for Stanley on , 12 at 2:00 at Pine Crest in Mobile. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00. Timothy Clark will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stanley’s life. Rachael was a native of Gadsden and had moved to South Carolina at the age of 16. She had work with Comcast, Charleston SC, as a technician Specialist for over 30 years. She was a dedicated employee and regarded her coworkers as family. She was a caring and giving person who lived animals. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Vinson; parents Maudie Smith and Wallace Smith; two brothers and two sisters. Rachael is survived by her daughter: Angela (Charles) Hewitt; grandchildren Elisha Craig, Kelli Smith, and Heath Hewitt; brothers Millard “Pete” (Marie) Smith and Richard (Carolyn) Smith; and several nieces and nephews and she loved them as her own.
