Obituary: Floyd Michael Vining “Mitch”, 74, passed away on 17, 2016 in Kaufman, Texas. He was born in Forest, Louisiana to Mike Lee and Stella Vining on 23, 1941. searching for the right soul mate Mitch finally found his “bestest friend” Leona and married on 31, Halloween night. said their vows dressed in black, all because they knew the meaning was that they “were never looking back”. Spending over 20 wonderful years together, Mitch and Leona never left each other’s side, enjoying casinos together, like Mitch’s favorite one Choctaw. Mitch worked as a truck driver all his life, his truck was his second home. When he wasn’t on the road he was fishing or doing his woodwork. No one could be sad around Michael. Like his family says, if you weren’t immediately laughing while talking to him, just give it 5 minutes. He loved to see people smile and laugh, even wanted to play pranks so he could get a good chuckle as well. In 2001 he was diagnosed with throat cancer. getting his vocal cords removed he could still talk. He still wanted to make people laugh. his victorious battle with cancer he continued to spend every moment with his family and wife. He also loved to be with his dog, Babygirl. She went everywhere with him and Leona. In 2009 Michael was diagnosed with colon cancer. Even in the hospital and until the very end he kept his family laughing and the hospital staff amazed. Mitch is survived by his wife, Leona, and one hell of a family, including George. A gathering of family and friends will be held on , 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Anderson-Clayton Bros. home in Kaufman, Texas.
