Obituary: A Mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take. -Cardinal Mermillod She exuded a positive radiance, had a million-dollar smile and deep blue eyes that glistened with hope and determination. Her friends and coworkers recalled her as he sweetest person, her husband referred to her as he love of his life, and her children lovingly called her mom and best friend. She brought joy to everyone she met, was a blessing to her family and an angel on earth. On 11, 2015, at 1:50 p.m., Diane La Valley spread her wings after a long and tough eight month battle against acute myeloid leukemia. Heaven gained a perfect angel and her family lost their best friend, role model, mother, daughter, sister, and wife. Then after moving back to Texas, Diane gave birth to their son, Andrew La Valley, in 1996. Diane retired earlier this month as a Senior Accounting Manager for Valero Energy Corporation/Corner Store Brands after 18 years.
