Obituary: Clara L. Voight, 65, passed away May 11, 2016. She was born in Evansville, IN to the late Joseph and Helen Slaton. Clara was a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Her kind heart and loving spirit will be missed by all. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Voight; granddaughter Hallie Voight, sisters Marie Slaton, Patricia Meuth, and Ilean (Dan) Kremer; brother Alan (Patricia) Slaton; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held May 17th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Family 5791 Rockville Rd. Indpls., IN 46224 followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM. A second celebration of life will be held on May 18th from Noon-2:00PM at Alexander North Chapel 4200 Stringtown Rd. Obituary: Thomas R. Big T Vogt, 72, went in peace to be with our Lord and Savior, , 10, 2017 in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Kokomo, IN, Tom graduated in 1963 from Kokomo HS and earned his Bachelors in Business from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN in 1968. He enjoyed a successful career as an insurance agent with Allstate, retiring after 34 years in 2005. During his career, Tom won many national awards with the company, many times over. He was President of the National Association of Life Underwriters. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC). Tom served many years and was instrumental with the building and developing of the Georgetown Little League program in the 70s and 80s. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Tom enjoyed traveling the world and trips to Las Vegas. Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Thenia Vogt of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Allen (Karen) Vogt of Tahoe, CA; Darren (Jennifer) Vogt of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Gaven, Carson, Parker, and Nina; brother, Dan (Cindy) Vogt of Killingworth, CT. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Sheldon and Laura a Vogt. Service is 3:00 pm, 16, 2017 at D. O. Obituary: Ronald D. Vogt, 80, of Columbus died at 4:30 AM, , 27, 2010 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Ron graduated from Coshocton High School, Coshocton, Ohio in 1947. He attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1949. He served in Mill Valley, CA at a radar station and was honorably discharged in 1953 with the rank of Technical Sergeant. Ron then graduated from Ohio State University in 1956. He was employed by Cummins Diesel Engine in 1957 where he began as a foreman and held various positions including Director of Warranty before retiring in 1993. He then consulted for Enceratec along with life long Cummins friends. In 1976 Ron held an integral role in pioneering the Columbus Youth Soccer Program which began with fewer than 100 children and has now grown to thousands. Ron served as Commissioner for more than 10 years and involved himself in all aspects of the program such as lining the fields, coaching, training and recruiting coaches, scheduling, coordinating tournaments, as well as hosting the first White River Games. Ron helped grow the soccer program to what it is today. In addition to his accomplishments with the Columbus Youth Soccer Program, Ron enjoyed a great love for the Indianapolis 500 where he worked for USAC for 25 years as the Chief Pit Scorer in the Pit Timing and Scoring crew. Born in New Philadelphia, Ohio on 13, 1929 as the son of the late Ernest and Freida Vogt He married Patricia Lockard on 15, 1952 in Coshocton, OH. and she survives. In addition to his wife of 58 years, Ron is survived by his sister, Joanne Wimmer of Lady Lake, FL. Three children, Jennifer Vogt of New Albany, IN, Dan Vogt and (Diane) of Corona Del Mar, CA, and Sarah Vogt of Weston, FL. Grandchildren include Anna and William Majors of New Albany, IN and Emma, Eric, and Elle Armenteros of Weston, FL. A memorial service will be held on , 3rd at 11:00 AM at North Christian Church to be officiated by Dr. Lanny C. Lawler. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on , 2nd at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street and 10:00 to 11:00 AM on , 3rd at North Christian Church. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will be entrusted to The Columbus Crematory on Pearl St. with a private interment of the urn at a later date in the South Lawn in Coshocton, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to the Columbus Park Foundation to the Ron Vogt Youth Soccer Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 858, Columbus, IN 47202. Obituary: Donald R. Voglewede , 87, passed away , 27, 2017 at Golden Years stead in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Decatur, IN, Donald graduated from Decatur Catholic High School in 1948. He served his country and was a Korean War Army Veteran. Donald worked as a dispatcher for 30 years with various local trucking companies and as a Security Guard at University of St. Francis for 13 years, retiring in 2000.
