Obituary: services for Mildred Marie Teykl Urbanek, 89, of Needville, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., , 7, 2014 at St. Pauls Presbyterian Church, 9122 Church St, in Needville, Texas with Rev. Jonathan Murray officiating. Interment will follow at the Needville Public . Visitation will be held on , 6, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Chapel in Rosenberg, Texas. Mildred was born 22, 1924 in Needville, to Joseph J. Teykl and Mary Hurta Teykl. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on 1, 2014 in Richmond, Texas. As a lifelong resident of the Needville area community, Mildred along with being a devoted housewife and mother, was active in many organizations. During her 89 years as a member of St. Pauls Presbyterian Church, she was an Elder, Trustee, School Clerk and Teacher. She was President, Vice-President and Treasurer several times during her 54 years as a member of the St. Pauls Presbyterian Womens Organization. She was also active in the Needville American Legion Womens Auxiliary Post #350 for 61 years, PTA, Vacation Bible School and Treasurer of the Needville Senior Citizens Organization for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 52 years Frank J. Urbanek, Sr., parents J.J. and Mary Teykl, sisters, Ollie Krobot and Doris Eda; and brother, Harry Teykl. Mildred is survived by daughter, Sharon Brauner and husband, Ernest; sons, Ronald Urbanek and wife, Cecelia and Frank Urbanek Jr. and wife, Rosie; grandchildren, Ernest Brauner Jr. and wife, Mendie, Shelly Pesak, Chris Urbanek and wife, Krissy, Richard Krobot and wife, Thersa, Keith Urbanek and fiancée, Jennifer, Christine Farquhar and husband, Chad; and step-grandchildren, Shirley Juarez and husband, Javier, Vickie Danielson and husband, Mike, fourteen great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Memorial Fund at St. Pauls Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 389, Needville, TX 77461. Obituary: Stenia Urbanczyk, 71, a successful entrepreneur, bar and restaurant owner died surrounded by her children Renee Donis and Mitch Urbanczyk after a long fight with cancer. She leaves behind her legacy of life in the United States as Polish immigrant who persevered against all odds to prepare a life for her children and grandchildren in the country that she loved and admired from her early childhood. Stenia immigrated to the United States in 1974 followed by her family. She instilled in her children a strong work ethic and pursuit of happiness. In her busy life she did not have much time to be a sports fan but in her retirement years Stenia became a huge fan of NBA and followed her favorite team San Antonio Spurs.
