Obituary: Roberto Trevino Jr., 50 years old, was born in Toppenish, WA on 11, 1966 and died in Bellevue, WA on 30, 2017. Roberto was employed by Costco, Issaquah Corp. Headquarters for almost 10 years. He loved his job and all the Costco family members he worked with. He was a community emergency response team (CERT) sponsored by Issaquah Citizen Corps. Bobby was a very loving child who helped care for his younger brothers and sisters. His passion was music and he enjoyed playing his guitar and drums. He loved all of his family and he will be missed. Bobby is survived by his parents, Robert and Donna Trevino; siblings, Jesus Trevino, Julian Trevino, Patricia Trevino and Krystal (David) Turcotte; nieces, Veronica Trevino and Angelica Trevino-Saldana; nephews, Kaden and Jackson Turotte. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his aunt, and cousin. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., , 9, 2017 at Langevin El Paraiso . Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., , 10, 2017 also at the funeral home. Obituary: MERCEDES (URVINA) TREVINO Mercedes (Urvina) Trevino, was born 24, 1932 in Omaha, NE. She passed away surrounded by her family on 21, 2014, at the age of 82. Mercedes was the third child born to Louis, Sr. and Cipriana Urvina. She spent her youth in Omaha, NE., and Torrington, WY., before moving with her family to Yakima in 1953. Mercedes was a very hard worker, working in the fields from the time she was a small child, in several canneries in the Yakima Valley, and was a para-pro for the Yakima School District. She later worked for Washington State Department of Social and Services for 25 years retiring in 1996. Mercedes enjoyed traveling, and fulfilled one of her lifes dreams when she visited the Vatican in Rome while on an extended trip throughout Europe. Her favorite vacation destination was Reno, NV, where she enjoyed playing the slots. In her later years she spent time watching Law and Order and The Family Feud. One of her proudest accomplishments was earning her GED at the age of 50. Mercedes was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years, where she served on the Parish Council, and was a member of Las Familias Unidas during the 1970s and 1980s. Mercedes married Bernardo Nayo Trevino at her parent's home in Yakima on 26, 1961, and they spent 53 years united in a strong and loving marriage. Together they raised five daughters, providing them with a sense of security and a lot of love. Mercedes was devoted to her daughters and did everything she could to make sure they were safe, and well provided for. She loved fiercely, was strong in her faith, had a strong sense of self and possessed strong moral values. She taught her daughters to be confident and independent, always did what she felt was the right thing to do, and led by example. In 2001 Mercedes suffered a debilitating stroke that left her partially paralyzed and changed the family dynamic forever. Since then she endured many other maladies but always bounced back. Her strength and endurance amazed us all, and impressed even her doctors, one of whom informed her in 2011 that she was a medical miracle because people not only don't survive what she had been through, but they certainly don't survive for 10 years. Mercedes was happiest when surrounded by her family, and especially enjoyed the company of her grandchildren. Despite her disabilities she attended many athletic games, recitals, open houses, graduations, and school functions throughout the years. Mercedes was truly one of a kind, and will be missed immensely, but is enjoying the reunion in heaven with her parents, Louis Sr. and Cipriana Urvina; a sister, Frances, and her four brothers, Evaristo, Silverio, Louis Jr., and Tomas, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Bernardo Trevino of Yakima; daughters Janie Trevino-Larios and Dan Morales of Wapato, Irene and Scott Niemi of Tieton, Bernice Trevino and Mike Trimble of Yakima, Theresa Trevino of Yakima, and Diane and Cleofas Coronado of Yakima; her grandchildren, Mandy and Juvenal Larios, Sarah Niemi, Naya and Everhett Trimble, Jasmine, Zachary and Adam Alfonzo, Samantha, Isaiah, and Abby Coronado; two great-granddaughters who brought a lot of joy to her later years, Avyanna Marie, and her namesake, Mercedes Marie. She is also survived by nine sisters, Lupe Reyes, Rosie Reyes, Ricarda and Fred Valenzuela, Julia and Paul Reboca, Esther Bastardo and Lydia Urvina, all of Yakima, Rayes and Frank Flores and Mary and Jerry Dutton, all of Federal Way, and Lucy and Jose Luis Flores of Corpus Christi, TX; sisters of the heart, Frances Macias Cerna of Yakima and Sara Sifuentes of Toppenish; and by her husband's large extended family; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. , 25, 2014 at Langevin El Paraiso , 1010 W. Yakima Avenue, Yakima with Recitation of Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. , 26, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yakima with interment following at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Langevin \ El Paraiso is in charge of arrangements. The family would like to thank Central Washington Family Medicine, especially Dr. J. Patel and Dr. G.
