Obituary: Aunt Carolyn Obituary Letha Carolyn Warren Sheppard Towsey 8, 1943 - 28, 2014 Carolyn was born to the late Roy and Myrtie Warren in Washington, NC. She graduated from Grimesland High School in1961 and moved to Northern Va where she started her 30 year career with Social Security Administration Office of Hearing and Appeals. Carolyn was blessed to have worked with so many wonderful coworkers that became lifelong friends. Carolyn and her late husband Frank B Towsey Jr were active Shriners for several years in Kemper Masonic Lodge in Falls Church and Keena Shrine Temple in Fairfax. Carolyn always had a special place in her heart for all children and supported several charities to create smiles on children that were less fortunate. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with family in NC and hosting family gatherings at her home in Colonial Beach, VA. Carolyn was preceded in death by her two husbands Bobby Holmes Sheppard, and Frank BurnleyTowsey Jr. " were both the Presidents of her Fan Club." Also preceded by her brother, Donald Ray Warren. Obituary: William C. Townsend, Jr. (CJ ), 47, of Reston, Virginia, passed away peacefully on 18, 2015 in Reston Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. He was a proud alumni of the class of 1989 from the University of Virginia. He also earned a Masters Degree in Education from Marymount University. He spent 20 years doing what he loved best - educating tomorrows leaders. Teaching was his passion and he made an impact on many young lives. Although he taught several grade levels, CJs favorite was 4th grade. As a history buff, he loved teaching 4th graders about Virginia history, especially during the field trip to Jamestown. He loved traveling and discovering new cultures. CJ enjoyed spending time in continental Europe as well as Iceland, Costa Rica, and Fiji. CJ was also a diehard Redskins fan, who spent every of the football season supporting his team in victory and defeat. He is preceded in death by his mother Penny. He is survived by his wife, Eva; his two young children, Liam and Sean; his father, William Townsend Sr.; his brother, Andrew (Amanda); and his sister, Nancy (Jason), and his niece Kelsey.
