Obituary: David Lloyd Turner David Lloyd Turner of Orem passed away 2, 2011, of a massive heart attack. David was born 21, 1963, in Provo to Lloyd Edward and LaVaun Forsey Turner. He was reared in Orem, graduating from Orem High School. He also attended BYU and earned his bachelor degree from University of Phoenix. serving an LDS mission to Rapid City South Dakota, he married Janice Johnson on 11, 1987. are the parents of three children, Lindsey Allison, Andrew David and Addison Levi. He began his career in computer software development at WordPerfect Corporation, and most recently worked at Dentrix/Henry Schein Inc. David was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in many callings including Young Men’s Secretary, Elders Quorum President, School President, Finance Clerk, Employment Specialist and Ward Executive Secretary. He loved the outdoors including fishing, camping and picnics in the canyon. David loved being with his family and enjoyed attending BYU sporting events and following the Utah Jazz. He was proficient with computers, always willing to help friends and family members with technical problems. He is survived by his wife, his three children and mother. Also survived by sisters Barbara (Ronald) Stoddard of Orem, Julie (Weston) Taylor of Alta Loma, California, Loralee (Rhett) Fernsten of Orem, and brother Darrin (Nicole) Turner of Stevensville, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Edward Turner. Services will be held , 8, 2011, at 12 noon, at the LDS Aspen 6th Ward, 1546 North 1100 West, Orem. Family and friends may call evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem and from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment in the Orem City cemetery. |
