Obituary: Robert Michael Terry, 39, of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away , 12, 2008 at the University of Utah Medical . He was born at Utah Valley Regional Medical in Provo, Utah on 1, 1968 to Douglas and Coral Terry. He attended Reese Elementary, Spanish Fork Junior High, and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a School Teacher and Baptismal Coordinator for the Spanish Fork Wolf Hollow Second Ward. On 18, 2005, he married Charise Terry. On 2, 2007, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Robert had been a welder and iron worker for 18 years and held foreman and safety positions. He was a patient man and a hard worker and well respected among his colleagues. He had many friends in the business world. He was in the process of going to college to get a bachelor degree in business management with a certificate for project management. He had various sports interests as a youth and played bass guitar in his early twenties. He loved to golf as a young man, and was excited to start up again with his father this summer. His current interests lie with his family and his faith. Rob was very dedicated to his wife, his son, and his stepchildren. He loved being able to come home every evening and spend time with them. He was his wifes best friend and they spent all of their spare time together. He was a wonder father and stepfather, very loving, easy-going, and had a great sense of humor. He served in his callings faithfully and loved attending the temple regularly with his wife. He loved his parents and was very thankful for the example, support, and love they showed him throughout his life, helping him become the man that he was. He loved his siblings and had an especially strong bond with his sister. He is survived by his wife, Charise Terry; his only son, Jordan Terry; his parents, Douglas and Coral Terry; his siblings, Brenda G. Wall (Wyatt); Cameron D. Terry (Marilyn); Burkley K. Terry; his step-children, Dallas, Cole, Alyssa, Jace, and Hailey Johnson; and step-granddaughter, Tamara Unga; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on , 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork East Stake , 870 E. Canyon Road, Spanish Fork. Bishop Voorhees will be conducting. The viewing will be held from 9:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City . |

Obituary: Nyra Colvin Terry passed away on , 15 after a long battle with a difficult and challenging illness. She was 77 years old. Her patience and determination in the face of adversity set a wonderful example for all of her family and friends. Nyra was born in 1933, the daughter of Tracy Sherman and Zella Vilate Ashton Colvin. She had two older brothers Harold and Curtis. all lived and flourished on a small farm in the Pleasant View area of North Provo. Nyra attended the old Page Elementary School and Lincoln High School in Orem, graduating from Lincoln in 1951. She excelled in music and drama in her high school years. She was a wonderful pianist and a gifted singer, talents which were to provide fulfillment and happiness throughout her life. high school Nyra enrolled at BYU where she had a great learning and social experience. There she met Andrew Terry. an interesting courtship, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple in , 1954. were blessed with two children – Susan and Brad, and eventually with grandchildren (7) and great grandchildren (6). When Andy was inducted into the army in 1955, Nyra returned to BYU to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Ten years later she began her professional career as a second grade teacher in Richland, Washington. In addition to her teaching assignments she enrolled in graduate school, completing a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance, and eventually a Doctorate in Educational Administration. This led to many years as a successful principal in Ohio. retirement, Nyra and Andy spent four-and-a-half years as full-time ordinance workers in the Washington D.C. LDS Temple. then returned to Provo settling in the North Edgemont area. Nyra is survived by her husband Andy, daughter Susan (Rick) Pawlowski, son Brad (Karyn) Terry, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brothers, and by a great grandson (Ashton Birk). For the last several months Nyra has been a patient at Beehive s in West Provo. She received wonderful care from the staff who have treated her as one of their own. We, Nyra’s family, express our gratitude for their loving kindness and care. Services will be in the Edgemont 9th Ward Chapel at 4295 North Canyon Rd, Provo, on , 21st, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may visit on , 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, in Orem, and on , 21st, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund in Nyra’s memory. She was a tireless student throughout her life. |

Obituary: 28, 1942 was a marvelous day in the lives of Bob and Darlene Terry in Yakima, Washington. Their second son, Michael, was born. He would bring joy, laughter, strength and amazement into their lives. Mike attended Klein School and Broadway Elementary in Yakima. His family moved to Kirkland, Washington when he was 14. He attended Kirkland Junior High and graduated from Lake Washington High School. He attended Everett Community and Seattle University. Mike went to work driving truck for Mid Mountain Contractors. He learned about the pipeline industry and progressed from foreman to estimator to management. He was successful in starting Pilchuck Diversified Services. Mike was well known throughout the industry. His love for Corvettes began when he was young. It blossomed into a hobby that gave him great satisfaction and joy as he restored many cars. His most recent attention was drawn to three Corvettes, years 1957, 1961 and 1962. Mike fully participated in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His recent callings were Teacher, High Priest Leader, Stake and Ward School President. He served in three Bishoprics. At the time of his passing, he was Ward Clerk for the South Mountain 4th Ward. Our family is deeply grateful to the nurses and doctors on East Eighth floor of the LDS Hospital who cared for and loved this incredible man during his fight with leukemia. Mike passed away on , 5, 2016, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. Mike is survived by his adoring wife, Melissa and six daughters and five sons-in-law: Cassie (Jim), Shanna (Mike), Trisha (Dave), Meghan (Chris), Mandy (TJ) and Courtney. He has sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and son-in-law. His life will be celebrated on , 12, at 12:00 noon at the Draper Utah South Mountain Stake , 1911 East Gray Fox Drive in Draper, Utah. Prior to that, friends may greet family at 10:30 am before the funeral. The family will also be available after the funeral and invite all attending to join us for light refreshments. Michael will be entombed at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Washington on , 20.
