Interment will follow at the Texas State Veterans under the direction of Elliott-Hamil , 5701 Highway 277, Abilene, Texas. John was born 1, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Alexander A. and Catherine (Magee) Tarsiewicz. He passed from this life on evening, 17, 2016, at the Hendrick Medical , Abilene, Texas, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. John married the former Susan Lee Snider at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas, on 19, 1967. John received a bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and joined the United States Air Force immediately following. He proudly served almost 11 years and was honorably discharged as the rank of Captain. He later earned his master's degree from Oklahoma City University. He loved to golf and bowl and was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; daughters, Heather Whiting and husband William, and Deborah Tarsiewicz; grandchildren, T. J. Whiting, Hayden Marie Whiting and Jase Whiting, all of Abilene, Texas; brothers, Kevin Tarsiewicz and wife Kathy of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, Mark Tarsiewicz and wife Rita of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Alexander Tarsiewicz of Mount Laurel, New Jersey; sister Lois Childs and husband Fred of Yardley, Pennsylvania; brother in law and sister in law, Jerry M. and Sherry Snider of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Obituary: Charles W. Tarrillion, Sr., born on 7, 1920 in Kerrville, Texas, passed away on 5, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, he was a 1937 graduate of Central Catholic High School and 1941 graduate of St. MaryÂs University with a degree in accounting, Summa Cum Laude. A veteran of World War II, he entered the Army Air Corps with enlisted status and was elevated to the rank of Captain by the time of his discharge. Obituary: Nelda Jo Breithaupt Tarrer, a longtime resident of Mentor OH, and most recent resident of Arlington, TX went to be with her family and friends waiting on the other side on 17, 2015. She was born on 30, 1930 in Corsicana, TX, and grew up on a farm outside town. She married her high school sweetheart and longtime husband Floyd Tarrer on 29, 1948. Nelda and Floyd settled in Haltom City, TX where they had two daughters, Linda Kathleen Penny born on Feb. 5, 1950, and Angela Diane Tarrer on 9, 1956. In 1963, they moved their family to Mentor, OH, where they lived for 48 years. Nelda was a busy crafter and a member of the Garfield Garden Club of Ohio. She was an avid reader of biographies and mysteries and an avid painter, especially of landscapes. Those who knew her appreciated her gift of gab, sometimes for hours at a time. Nelda loved her life in Ohio, near the shores of Lake Erie, and she especially liked winter. Nelda enjoyed travelling the country in her van and visiting with her beloved daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to whom she was a special and very loving Mom Mom. Along her journey, Nelda was fortunate to have her soulmate, Floyd, by her side, constant and adoring. Their shared sense of humor helped them enjoy the good times and weather the bad. met when they were 17 years old, married a year later, and lived the most beautiful love story for 67 years. Family was everything to Nelda. She is predeceased by her parents, Tynes and Clara Breithaupt, her daughter, Linda Penny and her son-in-law, Scott Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Tarrer, of Arlington; brother Gene Breithaupt of Mansfield, TX; sister Patty Sue Hill of Tucson, AZ; former sister-in-law Shirley Morgan of Spur, TX; daughter, Angela , of Leesburg, FL, granddaughter Julie Tarrer, of Arlington; grandsons Christopher (and wife Debbie) Penny and Jeremy (and wife Lori) Penny, of Waxahachie, TX, and Jonathan Penny (and girlfriend Renee Horton) of Arlington; great-grandchildren Derik and Justin Lindsey of Arlington, Angel and Chandler Penny, T.J. Milsaps, and Blake Penny, of Waxahachie, Cameron White of Burleson, TX, and Aleena Penny of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews in Arizona.
