Obituary: Wilma Jean Turner, age 81 of Pulaski passed away 3, 2015. Her parents were the late Malcolm and Sallie Will Holley Lanier and her husband was the late James Hardin Turner. She was also preceded in death by her brother Dean Lanier and her sister Frances Britton. Survivors include her daughters Evelyn Shelton and husband Jerry of Pulaski, and Sandy Ralston and husband Bill of Pulaski, her sisters Diane Brown and husband Wayne of Pulaski, and Linda Blankenship of Franklin, and her grandchildren Lisa Jones, Andrew Powell, Savannah Shelton, and Sarah Shelton. Obituary: WILLIAM Bill JONATHAN TURNER, JR., 80, of Collierville, TN, was born in Gulfport, MS on 11, 1933, and grew up in Greene , MS. He passed away in Memphis, TN on 16, 2014. Bill proudly served in the US Army during the Korean conflict and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry at Mississippi State University. Bill was a successful lumberman, manufacturing and selling hardwood and softwood lumber to an extensive clientele in Europe and the Pacific Rim. He was an active member of the Memphis Hardwood Lumbermans Club. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Fondren Turner, whom he married on 4, 1962, in Forrest City, AR, and his son Jonathan Turner (wife Deanna) and four grandchildren, Tabitha, Sam, Daniel and David of Antigo, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jonathan Turner, Sr. and Louisa Parker Turner of Leakesville, MS. Bill had a remarkable work ethic and a deep faith and love for God. He was a man of high integrity with a gentle and kind spirit. His loving family and friends are grateful for his thoughtfulness and leadership and the legacy he leaves for the generations to come.
