Obituary: Mildred Christine Ewton Turner, 90, of Bledsoe , passed away 4, 2014. Mrs. Turner was a loving wife, devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Brown L. Turner; parents, Grady B. and Lora Austin Ewton; daughter, Marilyn Turner Webb; grandson, Corey Webb; and brother, William Reece Ewton. Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Marshall Fletcher, Cookeville, TN; son-in-law, David Webb and Janie, Dunlap; grandchildren, Christy (Danny) Killman, Cookeville, Nathan Fletcher, Cookeville, Shane (Grace) Webb, St. Petersburg, Florida; great-grandchildren, Katie Killman, Jordan, Jessica, and Philip; brothers, Johnny (Linda) Ewton and Grady (Bobbie) Ewton; sister-in-law, Maxine Ewton; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including loving niece, Regenia Moore, and special friend, Joyce Jackson. Christine was a life long member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church and a retiree of DuPont. She liked to cook and sew, and loved being with her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers, especially Sarah Carr, of Right at -In , and Gentiva Hospice both of Cookeville. services will be held at 2:00 PM CST , 7, 2014 in the Ewton chapel with Elder Virgil Herrin officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson-Lewis . The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 PM CST at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, Sequatchie Cancer Network, or The Wounded Warrior Project. Ewton is in charge of arrangements. 423-949-2112 |

Obituary: Turner, Carol Ann Rogers, age 68 of Knoxville, passed away , 22, 2011 at Fort Sanders Regional after an extended illness. She was a member of White Stone church. Carol retired from the Knox Sherriffs Department in 2009. An avid Lady Vols Basketball fan. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents A.W. and Dorothy Rogers and sister Nancy Compton. Survivors include husband of 47 years John E. Turner IV, sons Scott Roberts and wife Sharon, Buddy Turner and wife Claudia and Brad Turner, daughters Tandy Dreier husband Butch and Brandy Vineyard and husband Brad, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, brother A.W. Rogers and wife Dorothy, a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. services will be held at 1pm in the Lynnhurst Greenwood chapel with Pastor Joel Ammons.
