Obituary: George Thomas Tittsworth, 74, of Gray, passed away at his home on , 18, 2015. Born on 5, 1940 in Scott , VA, he was the son of the late John Tittsworth and Hazel Pratt Tittsworth. Mr. Tittsworth was a member of Lynn Garden Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening, and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was active in the Church Brotherhood for local Missionary trips, and worked for Holston Defense for 39 years. In addition to his parents, John and Hazel Tittsworth, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda Tittsworth. He is survived by his two sons, Tony Tittsworth of Kingsport and Jeff Tittsworth of Abingdon, VA; two grandchildren, Joshua Tittsworth and Mikayla Tittsworth, both of Abingdon, VA; two brothers, Ben Tittsworth and his wife, Linda of Gate City, VA, and Charles Tittsworth his wife, Marilyn of Como, MS; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends evening, 21, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at East Lawn . services will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn with the Reverend Rick Meade and the Reverend Carl Strickler officiating. Obituary: William Bill Tittle, age 80, of Soddy Daisy, passed away , 09, 2016. Bill was born in Chattanooga and his family has lived in this area for many generations. He graduated from Baylor School, then attended the University of Chattanooga. Bill retired as Division Manager from Durr-Fillauer Medical Supply with over 30 years of service. Mr. Tittle was on the Airport Authority Board for 15 years. He was Vice Chairman, then he served as Chairman for the last 3 years of his term. Bill enjoyed working with the emergency personnel in the Chattanooga area and retired as Chief of Emergency Management for Hamilton . He was involved for over 18 years with the Riverbend Festival, where he was Chief of Security, served on the board of the Festival and was President one year. Bill was a dedicated longtime member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, where he served on several committees, taught School Class and was Chairman of the Administration Board. He went on several mission trips and helped built churches in Alaska. Bill was an avid boater and pilot. He loved to be a weekend farmer, hiking and his motorcycles. Bill was always available to help someone and served tirelessly during the tornadoes in the Apison - Ooltewah area. But most of all, he loved his family, church and his wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Howard Tittle, Jr. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dianne Tittle; children, Bill (Valerie) Tittle, IV, David (Karin) Tittle and Becky (Brian) Cox; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Sherry Case and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on at the North Chapel of Chattanooga and 2 to 3 pm on at St. Luke United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life Service for Bill will follow at 3 pm on , at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Rev. Evelyn B. Harris and Don Allen officiating.
