Obituary: Mary E. Tomlinson, 69, passed away 29, 2011. She was born 23, 1942 in Salina, KS to Gladys and Joe Zemler. Mary met her love, Lonnie Tomlinson of 1971 at Old Cornado Lanes. Mary loved to bowl. Lonnie and Mary wed 6 months later at St. Patricks Catholic Church, which they were both members for many years. Mary loved watching TV, being a house wife and spending time with her children and grand babies. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Tomlinson; son, James Tomlinson; three daughters, Michelle Bolding, Tonya Stanberry and Paige Tomlinson; nine grand babies, Kali, William, Destini, Olivia, Galaxie, Sarah, Poni, Faith, who is in Heaven, and baby Andrew whos on his way; two sisters, Lillian and JoAnn; four brothers, Martin, Aaron, Gary and Leonard Zemler; five sister-in-laws, Connie, Dorothy, Linda, Sharon and Barbara; and two brother-in-laws, Jim and Ronnie. Mary has joined in Heaven, two sister-in-laws, Vivian and Nancy; and a brother-in-law, Larry. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of other loved family and friends.Services will be held at 10:00 AM , 5, 2011 at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Ft. Sill National . |

Obituary: Darlene Estelle Tomlinson, passed away peacefully in her home in Yukon on 7, 2015, at the age of eighty five. She was born in El Campo, TX, to John and Blen Whitfield on 20, 1929. She attended high school at Putnam City High School and graduated in 1947. She married Glen Tomlinson on May 19, 1951 and raised four children. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, John & Blen Whitfield, her sister Ella Jones and brother Harry Whitfield. She is survived by her husband of sixty four years, Glen Tomlinson, daughter Denise Foley and her husband Dave of Edmond, OK, daughter Debbie Benn and her husband John of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter Connie Cooper and her husband Rocky of Tryon, OK, son Chris Tomlinson and his wife Missy of Yukon, OK, grandson Tim Canaday of Oklahoma City, OK, granddaughter Sarah Roberts of Oklahoma City, OK, granddaughter Lindsay Flynn and husband Andy of Yukon, OK, granddaughter Aubrey Barnett and husband Josh of Oklahoma City, OK, granddaughter Haley Carter and husband Billy of Oklahoma City, OK, grandson Cory Tomlinson of Oklahoma City, OK, and seven great grandchildren: Karson, Payton, Cason, Edison, Amelia, Emma and Faith, three sisters Ina Faulkner, Carol Erickson, Joyce Pyle , two brothers John E. Whitfield, Gerald Whitfield and many nieces and nephews and friends. She loved the Lord with all her heart and never failed to share her faith, lift you up in prayer, extend hospitality or tend to the needs of others. Her devotion to her Lord and the love of Jesus Christ flowed through her every thought, she truly had a servants heart. The family thanks Physicians Choice Hospice for their loving care of our wife and mother during her last days. We are also thankful for all of the prayers, phone calls, visits and food from those who knew and loved Darlene. |
