Obituary: Robert Eli Bob Taylor Sr., age 76, of Elyria, has gone to His Lord, The God, on 4, 2013. Now independent of the illnesses he endured for the past two years. He was surrounded by his loving caregivers of the Hospice of The Western Reserve and his beloved wife of 33 years, Rita (nee: Yourkiewcz). Bob was the loving father of Kevin (Candi) of KS, Cathy (Gary) Manning, Jolene (Charlie) Fagan, Yvette Taylor, and Robert Jr. (Jamie) Taylor all of FL, he was the devoted grandfather of 13 and proud great grandfather of 8. Bob also leaves behind his brother Darrel Taylor of FL, nephews, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Eli and Velma and infant sister, Shirley Ann. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy; he enjoyed attending Bible studies, wood working, traveling, fishing and being Mr. Fix It. Bobs servant heart drew others close to him to share his wisdom, love and encouragement. He lived and spoke the love of Jesus Christ. He was a volunteer in many support services in the community and churches and most recently attended Church of The Open Door in Elyria. A memorial service will be held in tribute to Bobs life on , 13, at 11am in the auditorium of Church of The Open Door 43275 Telegraph Rd. Elyria, OH 44035 where family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Pastor Joel Zaborowski will be officiating. Obituary: Robert H. Taylor, age 79, of North Canton, passed away on , 21, 2015. He was born on 16, 1935, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Taylor, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1955 and received his Bachelors Degree from Heidelberg , Tiffin, Ohio, in 1959. He spent the majority of his professional career in a variety of positions in several states at Firestone Tire & Rubber from which he retired. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two sons, Keith William and Kyle David Taylor; his sister, Peg Leuenberger: and brother, Chuck Taylor. He is survived by his devoted son, Steven Robert and wife Monique, and two beloved granddaughters, Sonja and Audrey. services will be held at 2:00pm on in the Karlo-Libby . Interment will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Peninsula, OH. Friends may call from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
