Obituary: Louis Lee Tokach, 80, went to walk the streets of gold with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 11, 2015 at Missouri Slope Lutheran in Bismarck. services will be held at 11:00 am on , 16, 2015 at New Song Community Church, Bismarck, ND with Rev. Larry Jahnke officiating. Burial will be at Mandan Union . Visitation will be held , 15, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Weigel , with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on . Louis was born 12, 1934 and raised in St Anthony, ND. He had many chapters in his life. Louis was an avid hunter and has many trophies. He raised coon hounds and chased them through the woods after raccoons. 1, 1956 Louis married his sweetheart Jean Robidou. The children they raised together include Susan (Bernie) Allen, Louis Jr., Sharon (Rex) Nagel, Nancy (Sheldon) Berger, Beth (Kevin) Hextall, Dawn (Jayme) Sullivan, Sarah (Mitch) Miller, and Aaron (Amanda). In his thirties Louis met and dedicated his life to Jesus Christ. Louis and Jean ministered to countless individuals over the years and their marriage was an example to many. Over the years they took numerous people into their home and mentored them. In 1991 Louis retired from the Amoco refinery after 35 years. retirement he began gardening full time and selling his produce at local farmer’s markets. Louis and Jean were involved with their church, New Song, where he was an Elder. enjoyed hosting bible studies and being a positive example. He also was involved in prison ministries and a counselor for Teen Challenge. Before Louis passed he said he felt blessed, that he had a full life, and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. His family meant a lot to him, not only his children but his siblings , Kenny, Jim, Clifford, Jerry, Joyce, Ron, and Duane. He is survived by his children Susan, Sharon, Beth, Dawn, Sarah, Aaron, fifteen grandchildren and ten great- grand children He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and his children Louis Jr and Nancy, his brothers Jim, Jerry, and Duane, and sister . In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the New Song Community Church Teen Challenge. |

Obituary: Laura L. Tokach, 62, Mandan, passed away 5, 2017 at Sanford in Bismarck. Services will be held on , 9, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Weigel , Mandan, ND. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service. Laura was born on 25, 1954 to Arthur and Mickey (Brunelle) Tokach in Mandan, ND. She was raised and educated in Mandan, ND attending Mandan High School and going on to receive her BS in Horticulture. Laura loved plants and nature and enjoyed working at Cashman Nursery in Landscape Design. She also worked for Gurneys Seed . Laura struggled with Fibro Myalgia for many years which made it difficult to do the things she loved. Laura met Steve Barton and they knew instantly that they were meant to be together, Laura and Steve were engaged to be married at the time of her death. Laura loved animals and all wildlife, the color purple and classic rock and pop music. She was very close to her family and friends and they will miss her always. Laura will be deeply missed by her fiancée, Steve Barton, Mandan, ND; mother, Mickey Tokach, Mandan, ND; sisters, Lynn (Steve) Boyle, Denver, CO and Lorraine (Jeff) Schwindt, Mandan, ND; brothers, David (Mary Kay), Mandan, ND, Pat (Sandra), Woodbury, MN, Joel (Dawn), Senger, ND and Daniel, Senger, ND along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
