Obituary: Virginia "Gin" Brooks Troxler, 88, died 10, 2011 at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC. A funeral service will be held , 2 p.m., 13, 2011 at Westover Church, by Rev. Don Miller and Rev. Bob Voorhees. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens. Virginia was born on 9, 1923 to W. D. and Prudence Freeman Brooks in Dresden, Tennessee. She graduated from Dresden High School in 1941 and worked as a dental assistant and also was the Society Editor at the local newspaper office, The Dresden Enterprise. During World War II, Virginia worked at Milan Arsenal Plant in Milan, Tennessee. Gin was married to H. Paul Troxler on 22, 1948, in Dresden, Tennessee, and they have been married for 62 years. Virginia was a member of Westover Church where she served in the Womens Missionary Fellowship and wrote for a number of years to missionaries supported by Westover. She also taught school. She enjoyed gardening and interior decorating. She loved and was loved by family and friends. Virginia always thought of everyone else before herself. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, sister, Ruth Steele, and brother, David T. Brooks. Surviving are her husband, Paul; daughter, Jan Baynes and husband, Phillip, of Greensboro; son, Paul B. and wife Jan L. Troxler of Berlin, Germany; sister, Lucille B Jackson of Gleason, Tennessee; grandchildren, Rachel E. Cheatum, and husband, Drew, Kevin P. Baynes and wife, Brittany, Leah T. Schirrmann and husband Frank, Katie T. Knaus and husband Stas, and Josef and Michael Troxler; great grandchildren, Nycholas K. Baynes, Mason A. Cheatum, Nyah M. Baynes and Nataley R. Baynes; nieces, Treva Wren of Martin, Tennessee, and Charlene S. Carroll and husband, Kim of Dresden, Tennessee, and a host of nieces and nephews. Obituary: Lynda Lewis Troxler -- known by all as Lyn and a special few as Mama T -- passed away suddenly but peacefully , 7, 2015 at her home. She was born 21, 1942 in Wake to the late V. Earl and Bessie Alford Lewis, and was raised on the family farm in Knightdale. She attended Knightdale Baptist Church, graduated in 1960 from Knightdale High School, and in 1963 from East Carolina with a Bachelors Degree in Education. In 1980, she married the love of her life, Daniel Troxler, and returned to North Carolina from Virginia. Until she retired in 2005, Lyn worked in the banking industry as a Mortgage Processor. Lyn was an angel here on earth, doing anything she could for others, no matter her own circumstances. Her greatest joys were long visits with her beloved daughter and son-in-law, sitting quietly with her books or crossword puzzles, time with family, fun evenings with neighborhood friends, and any time she could spend with her great-grandsons. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 pm, , 11, 2015 at L. Harold Poole Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545 with Reverend George Pullium officiating. The family will visit with relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory daughter Maria and her husband Col (ret) Randy White, USAF of Niceville FL; grandchildren Maj Greg White, USAF (Katy) of Springfield VA and Mandy White of Fayetteville AR; great-grandsons Colin & Jacob White; brothers Robert Lewis of Goldston and Curtis Lewis (Sue) of Knightdale; sisters Frances Cooke of Raleigh, Janet Hardee (Henry) of Shallotte, and Faye Hurst (Julian) of Apex; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Lewis of Raleigh, a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Doris Poole and Evelyn Godley; and brothers Bill Lewis Sr. and Stanley Lewis. Obituary: Brayden Ryland Troxler ,14, was called home on 30, 2016. Brayden was born on 11th 2001 in Salisbury, North Carolina. A talented musician and former student at West Forsyth High School, Brayden could always be found in front of his computer, playing his guitar or piano and chatting with his friends. He loved baseball, basketball, lacrosse and music. In addition to thousands of beloved friends, he is survived by his mother, Amanda J Garnett; father, Brett H Troxler; stepfather, Jason R Mai; sister, Camden B. Mai; brother, Landen J. Mai; maternal grandmother, Charlene Gill and maternal grandfather, John R. Garnett; his paternal grandparents, Barbara and Billy Troxler; maternal great grandfather, Robert P. Carter and paternal great grandparents, Inez and Mel Embler; uncles, Keith Carter, Bradley Troxler, Bobby Garnett, Tommy Garnett, Billy Garnett, John Carter and MH Embler; aunts, Sayra Chalako, Peggy Graham, Linda Waller, Sherry Carter, Tony Embler and numerous beloved cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncles Bryan Troxler, Braxton Caviness, Doug Graham and Aunt Kimberly Carter-White.
