Obituary: Steve Thomas 1955-2015 Gastonia – Steven Ray Thomas, 60 passed away peacefully on 29, 2015. He was born in Gaston , on 16, 1955 to the late Ronald M Thomas, Sr and Frances Lizetta Killian Thomas In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandmother Bessie Thomas, brother Marty Thomas and uncle Arnold Killian He was a very active member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church, Steve always made an effort to be at church; he had a big heart for the Lord!! He enjoyed spending time with his family and NASCAR racing. Steve was a kind and good hearted man. He had worked at the Country Club, Gastonia City Club, The Gondola and Surf and Turf. Survivors include brother Ronald M Thomas, Jr., his stepfather Gerald Davis, Aunts, Dot Lee, Carol Berry and Nancy Gibson A service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 pm , 2ndat Chapel Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Overton officiating.
