Obituary: Mrs. Ruth Mary Theros, 96, of Advance, passed away , 3, 2014, at Bermuda Village in Advance. Ruth was born on 10, 1917, in Ridgeway, NY, to the late William Todkill and Clara Betts Todkill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Dr. Elias G. Theros. She was also preceded in death by her dear friend, Mr. John Pastor. Ruth lived her early years in Barker, New York. She graduated from Barker High School in 1935 and was a member of line United Methodist Church. Ruth studied art at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she met her late husband, Lee. She completed her Bachelors degree in Art at San Diego State University at a later date. Lee and Ruth had a wonderful life together and traveled extensively through his career in the Navy and the medical field. She enjoyed this greatly. Ruth loved her Art work and painted until the last days of her life. She also loved gardening, flowers, and landscaping, and interior designing. She loved her family dearly and was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by three children, George A. Theros of Thailand, Tod Theros and wife, Marion of Haymarket, VA, and Stephanie T. Reid and husband, Rick of Lewisville; sister, Reah Johnson of Medina, NY; grandchildren, Lee Theros, Tamiko Mackie, Derrick Theros, Jintara Theros, Sushi Theros, Joel Theros, Amy Kay, Stephanie Fitzpatrick, Rhys Theros, Stuart Soley, Gregory Soley, Melanie Soley, Warren Reid, Leigh Anne Reid; ten great grandchildren, Caroline, Carter, Morgan, Sophie, Catelyn, Lauren, Kaci, Ruby, Lexie, and Valentina; her niece Rebecca Ott, and nephews Truman and Rob Johnson; Mr. Pastors family Randy and Fred Moritz, Alix Kolt, Drew and Adele Pastor, and Ms. Liz Pastor. A celebration of her life will be held at Arlington National , where she will be laid to rest beside her husband to be announced at a later date. Obituary: On 21, 2009, Omer Ernest Theriault left us to rejoin his beloved wife of 60 years, Martha who was called home by the Lord in 2002. Omer, who was born 15, 1913 to Ralph C. and Rose M. Theriault in Waterbury, Connecticut, was the eldest of four brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur R. Theriault, Robert W. Theriault and sister Doris Aitchison. He is survived by his brother Ralph C. and wife Rita Theriault and family, sister-in-law Marie Theriault and family and brother-in-law William Aitchison and family; and from the Thomas family, brothers-in-law Robert, Buddy and Charles Thomas their wives and families and sisters-in-law Margaret Thomas, Ernestine Thomas, Patsy Orr and Erolyn Church and their families, as well as the families of Clarice Padgett and Johnny Crozier, and his daughter Grace and husband Douglas and son Paul and wife Beth and their families. On 23, 1933 Omer enlisted in the 118th Observation Squadron of the Connecticut Air National Guard. This squadron was federalized in , 1941 and he served with this unit until he was discharged on 26, 1945 with the rank of Master Sergeant. Martha and Omer were married 4, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida and had two children, Grace Theriault-Mayfield and Paul O. Theriault and were proud grandparents of five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. During his life Omer worked as service manager in dealerships for Hudson and later Buick in Connecticut and after moving to Jacksonville, Florida, Cadillac and Buick/Pontiac until his retirement. moving to Charlotte in 1985 Martha and Omer became members of the Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Omer continued to enjoy his church family for the remainder of his life with us. The family would like to thank his neighbors who have watched over and cared for Martha and Omer since their arrival in Charlotte and to Gena Kunde. Also special thanks for the members of Charlotte Fire and Rescue, EMTs and the staff at the Carolinas Medical Trauma and ICU for their gentle care and assistance during this difficult time. A celebration of Omers life will be held 1:00p.m., , 29th at Wilson and Cremation Service in Charlotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on at the funeral home. Obituary: Our hearts ache and Sandra will be missed. She was born in St. Paul, MN on Dec. 24, 1960 and died suddenly on 7, 2015. She attended Holy Trinity Grade School in Westfield, NJ where she was active in the Girl Scouts of America, receiving the highest honor as well as the Marian Medal. She attended Bridgewater High in NJ, the University of Alabama and ITT Tech Institute in Raleigh, NC. Sandra loved any kind of cat large or small. She was a Volunteer at the Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro, NC and a Mom to three kitties. A few of her many talents were cooking, baking and cake decorating. She was always checking out recipes. She also loved her garden of flowers which attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Sandra was employed by Lenovo in the Research Triangle Park, NC. She leaves behind her Mother, Marlene and Father, Robert of Tucson, AZ. , sister Carolyn Theissen Hannan (husband Jon) of Norfolk,VA brothers, James (wife Hannah) of Martinez, GA and Brian (wife Jill Jordan) of Raleigh, NC. Her niece Kathryn Hannan, nephews Jack and Ryan Hannan, Benton and Ethan Theissen. Aunts and Uncles; Jack and Brenda Selbitschka of Battlelake, MN, Donald and Colleen Theissen of Maplewood, MN , Richard and Diane Theissen of Maplewood, MN, and Kathryn Kirschbaum of Peoria, AZ, along with many, many cousins. Welcoming her home are grandparents Kay and Ray Theissen, John and Louise Selbitschka.
