Obituary: Ann Zona Taylor (Honaker), 71 years old of Statesville passed away on 7, 2016. Born in Kyle, WV on 11, 1944 to the late Charles and Bonnie Honaker, she has been a resident of Statesville for 45 years. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Carl Pete Taylor in 2009. She is survived by her three sons, Charles David Taylor of Statesville, William Carl Taylor and his wife Angyl of Statesville and James Walter Taylor of Statesville; her daughter, Sherry Ann Taylor of Statesville and four grandchildren, Cheylynn, McKayla, Pacey and Vinny. Obituary: ANN WHITESIDE TAYLOR Loved By All Canton-Taylor, Ann Whiteside, 83—On , 2, 2015 our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Ann Whiteside Taylor passed away surrounded in love by her family. Wham was preceded in death by her beloved son Master Trooper Calvin E. Taylor, parents Lee and Exie Whiteside, Brother Roy Whiteside and Sister Sue Ashe. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pat Taylor, Chuck Taylor (Peggy) and Dorine Styles (Charlie) all of Canton; grandchildren Charles Taylor III (Jessica) of Fletcher, Kellie Brooks (Sean) of Forest City, David Styles (Mallory) of Charlotte, Philip Styles of Canton, and step-grandson Cale Shelton (Shelley) of Waynesville; great-grandchildren, Makala and Blake Taylor, Alana and Zane Brooke, and Chloe and Jaxon Shelton; and brothers, Troy Whiteside (Edna) of Bryson City and Jerry Whiteside (Windy) of Greenville, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was retired from Haywood Schools as a bus driver and Springdale Country Club. She was a devoted member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she served on numerous committees and faithfully worked on many church projects or events. Ann was a member of Sonoma Lodge 254 Order of the Eastern Star. Wham was known for her beautiful smile, crafts, cooking and mouth-watering pound cake. Her suitcase was always packed and ready for travel to see new places and experience new things. Visitation will be , 5th at Bethel United Methodist Church in Waynesville (804 Sonoma Road) from 6pm to 9pm. Mrs. Ann Taylor will be entombed, 6, 2015 at the Horizon Mausoleum at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. Our mothers attitude was that you preach your funeral every day that you live, thus we are honoring her wishes with a graveside service at Crawford Memorial Garden in Clyde conducted by grandson, David Styles and by Dr. David Russell. Obituary: Dateline: Hope Mills, NC Mrs. Anita Louise Sautter Taylor, 78, of Hope Mills died at First Hospice in West End. Mrs. Taylor was retired from K-Mart and Sams Club and was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was born and raised in Tontogany, Ohio. marriage, she joined her husband at his various stations with the US Army, eventually settling in Fayetteville/Hope Mills, NC. She was a proud mother of eight children, grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of eight. She was predeceased by her mother and father Doris and Keith Sautter, brother Douglas and sister Marilyn. services will be conducted at 11am at Reeves , Hope Mills, NC with burial in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Surviving are her husband Thomas C. Taylor; daughters Debra K. Taylor (Faye Cotner), Cynthia L. Baker (Michael) and Dawn M. Holt (Timothy); sons Kris A. Taylor, Michael A. Taylor, Rick E. Taylor (Gina), Scott P. Taylor (Sharon) and Gregory W. Taylor; grandchildren Joseph D. Baker, Christi L. Byrd, Keith A. Taylor, Jennifer M. Taylor, Cheyenne Sharp, Tyler A. Holt, Emilie S. Taylor, Jessica F. Taylor and McKenzie M. Taylor; and great-grandchildren Audrey N. Byrd, Tyler I. Holt, Taylor C. Jones, Taylor M. Byrd, Jessica, Samantha and Lindsay Schimmel, Joseph M. Baker and Sean Franks. She is also survived by her sister Rose McClure and her brother Alan Sautter.
