Obituary: Kathy Ann Topolewski, 63, of St. Clair Township, died , 10, 2017. She was born 3, 1953 in Detroit to the late Earl and Shirley Schlitt. She married Dr. Mark Topolewski on 25, 1973 in East Detroit. Kathy worked alongside her husband as the office manager at his optometry practice for 30 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, golfing, shopping with her daughter, and supervising the familys annual vacation to Oscoda as the official Oscoda Camp Director with crafts, games and smores. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dr. Mark Topolewski; children, Dr. Jeff (Renae) Topolewski and Melissa (Paul) Seifert; grandchildren, Liam Topolewski, Penelope Topolewski, Jackson Seifert and Elizabeth Lizzy Seifert; brothers, Gary (Kathy) Schlitt and Jim (Tracy) Schlitt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:30-8:00 p.m. , 16, 2017 in the Marysville . Memorials may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute or Blue Water Hospice. Obituary: TOPOLEWSKI, Gerald J. passed away 6, 2016 at the age of 87. Gerald is survived by his loving children, Maria (Mark) Burch, Richard (Deborah), Tanya (Joe Prosser) Topolewski, and Tracy (Steve) Haver; his cherished grandchildren, Katelyn, Kristopher, Cassandra, Nicolas, Amanda, Samantha, Meghan, Brianna, Rachelle, Nathaniel, Emileann, Zachary, Jackson, Jared and Owen; his sister, Lorraine Casey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Mildred Topolewski, his parents, Richard and Katherine Topolewski, and his six brothers. Gerald was proud to be a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an entrepreneur, co-owning with his brothers a small family manufacturing company and owning a party store. His passions in life were fishing and boating, the love of which he greatly enjoyed passing on to his children and grandchildren. In his free time, Gerald was also a champion putterer and tinkerer (he was able to fix, repair, or rebuild anything he could get his hands on), an expert water-skiing instructor, and a landscape engineer. Visitation will take place at Kaul , 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township on , 9, from 4-8 pm with a vigil service at 7 pm. The Mass will be at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market St., Mt. Clemens on , 10, at 11 am with an instate time at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations will support the UMCCC Fund for Discovery.
