Obituary: Velma Inez Taylor , 89, of Ashdown, AR passed away May 31, 2015 in her home. Mrs. Taylor was born 30, 1925 in Fouke, AR to Marida T. and Deloris Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a Baptist, and she retired as a waitress from the Kettle Restaurant in Texarkana, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Vernon Taylor, Goston Taylor, Orley Gilpin; three sisters, Ruby Taylor, Hazel Taylor, and Ola Mae Paludan. She is survived by three nephews, Robert Bob Hales of Ashdown, AR, Mike Gilpin of Mandeville, LA, William Gilpin of Dallas, TX; six nieces, Marilyn Taylor and Carolyn Ford of Arlington, TX, Pam Crister of Florida, JoAnne Taylor and Annette Utley of Hendersonville, KY, Cathy Gilpin of Slidell, LA; one great niece, Deloris Hales of Ashdown, AR and her children, Ashley Gallagher of Foreman, AR and Charles Merrell Jr of Ashdown, AR; two special friends, Johnny and Rose Welch of Ashdown, AR; and many friends and neighbors who loved her. Obituary: Thelma M. Taylor, 101, of Fort Smith, passed away , 3, 2017, in Fort Smith. She was born 22, 1916 in Foss, OK to the late Thomas and Birdie Tucker. She was a retired checker from Model Laundry, and a member of New Bethel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Taylor. Thelma was a very sweet, kind and loving Christian lady. service will be 2:00 PM at the U.S. National Pavilion with burial to follow at the U.S. National in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards . She is survived by her daughter, Judy Atchison of Fort Smith; her grandson, Jake Atchison and wife Anna of Fort Smith; and three great grandchildren, Gracie, Annaston and Lydia. Obituary: Terry Lee Clark Taylor, age 72, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away , 22, 2017. She was born 22, 1944 in Benton, Arkansas, a daughter of Jess LeRoy Clark and Mildred Ethel Wright Clark. She was a nurses aid and of the Methodist faith. She loved to serve in her community and done so through Girls Scouts, sporting events, actively guiding the youth of her community, and loved her children and grandchildren without fail. She is survived by her children, Jess Edward Howell of Houston, Arkansas, Teresa Lee Howell of Donaldson, Arkansas, Tessie Elizabeth Wilson of Perry, Arkansas, Jonathan Thomas Eddings of Houston, Arkansas, and Jennifer Leanna Nix of Malvern, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Don Dale Clark and Tommy DeWayne Clark; and sister, Ruth Ann Swaine. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Edward Howell; three grandchildren; and sister, Della Mae Dalton. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. , 28, at Walnut Grove in Pulaski with Rev. Todd Bray officiating. are by Harris of Morrilton. Obituary: Sue Taylor was born 19, 1945 in Harrison, AR to Ace and Mabel Ferguson. She moved to Wichita, KS when she was a young child. She met her husband, Mac Taylor, at a church service at Westside Free Will Baptist Church in 1960. were married 30, 1962. living in Wichita for several years they moved back to Arkansas, residing in Bentonville since 1967. She was employed with the Bentonville Public Schools from 1874-1990 when she retired to start her new career of being a grandmother. She returned to the work force part-time in 1995 where she worked for American Greetings. From 1968 to 1977 she was a member of the gospel singing group The Christianaires and traveled all over the United States. Sue was also a charter member of the Bentonville Free Will Baptist Church which was founded by her father. Sue me her Savior that she faithfully worshiped and served on 30, 2011. She joins her father, Ace Ferguson, son Mac Taylor Jr, son Clinton Wade Taylor, sister Charlene Weins and several other family and friends for a heavenly celebration. She is survived by her mother, Mabel Ferguson of Bentonville; husband Mac Taylor of Bentonville; son Heath Taylor and wife Vicki of Bentonville; daughter Shawn Rankin and husband Eric of Bentonville; grandchildren Taren Rankin and fiancé Cody Mulanax, Trevor Taylor and fiancé Susan Elwood, Tanner Rankin, Heather Taylor, and TaShawna Rankin, all of Bentonville; brothers Virgil Ferguson and wife Maizie of ton and JC Ferguson and wife Lois of Hot Springs; sister Jo Baldridge and husband Leroy of ton; and brother-in-law Gerald Weins of Bentonville. She will be greatly missed by her many nephews and nieces as well as a multitude of friends. Services for Sue will be 1pm , 4, 2011 at Rollins in Rogers with a visitation preceding the service from 11-1. Burial will follow at Bentonville City .
